i don't knew about china but here the problem is if you go into service jobs you usually get better income than when you go into manufacturing .that made those jobs less appealing .The main problem is the over education of the young population, now always every young person holds at least a bachelor's degree and will never think about taking a manufacturing job, they would rather choose "lying flat" at home than take a job in a factory.
i think that is the problem that must be answered
its not bachelore degree that is the problem , the problem is the degree offered are not reflecting what the society and job markets demand .Bachelor's degree really doesn't worth much. Expectation needs to be adjusted as wider population receives higher education.
