It would make sense that BD has access to J-10CE as this was made to replace the J-7 in service.
So it wouldn’t be shocking if BD picks up a few.
China definitely has far more sophisticated things in the pipeline for them to even entertain exporting anything.
But again circumstances are changing.
China seems to be able to produce far more sophisticated and capable systems than in years past.
So export control may become an issue.
This is all conjecture on my part of course.
It may be because that you live in US for too long so that you have opinion...
China is not like US having a troublesome congress to put so many restrictions on export. Also, we welcome every customer showing interest to our weapons as long as you don't support Taiwan which is our only bottom line.
China is the craziest seller daring to sell anything :
----Saudis bought strategical ballistic missiles from us
----Pakistan got help about nuclear tech from us
----Ghaddafi's Libya got technical materials of nuke from us
----NK bought advanced carrier vehicles for their nukes
----Iraq, Iran, Egypt bought strategic bombers (H-6) from us
Comparing to those listed above you should know that some frigates are nothing worth a restriction
So, I don't see a real bottom line for our weapon export as long as you are our friend
BD is a traditional friend and weapon buyer of China so I don't see any restriction will be put on, and what you should care about is India's intervention.
