The Indians are the finest in the world at one thing : surrendering/giving up territory without a fight. Basically, they are opposite of the Japanese in World War II and China should be very lucky for that. If Indian soldiers, however outclassed, fought to the very end, then the task would be much greater for the Chinese.

Every military has a psyops branch, the Americans and British used them all over Iraq and Afghanistan. At one point they even came up with a plan to blast a voice so loud that the enemy would think it was god himself and lay down their weapons on his command.
