On the occasion, President Cristina ratified the strategic alliance between China and Argentina. At the same time Jibao recalled that back in 2004, then President Néstor Kirchner and his Chinese counterpart Hu Jintao signed the a strategic association between both nations.

The President also thanked the Prime Minister and the Chinese government for supporting Argentina on its sovereignty claim over the Malvinas islands.

strategic alliance between China and Argentina

I didn't notice that line, does that mean an anti-west alliance with S.A. governments?

Good move by China! China should sell some of the anti-ship and carrier killer missiles to Argentina. It will make the playing field even.

exactly, 1984 war was so skewed in terms of military gears.

Yeah, but India will never be a pain in the @ss of the west because India is a student/son of the west. Student/son should not trouble teacher/parent.
Son, you took my words in different sense, my sentence was to reflect China's increasing role and say in international politics and growing power. Better think in positive way, shall we, rather than making snide remarks.

After that response from the Chinese , do you see why there is no point supporting them or being nice to them on this forum at least ? They are full of venom here .I was like you till some time back .

Save your good gestures for Chinese outside defence.pk

no need to be offensive, sir.

but anyone knows what 's the position of India on this Malvinus?

Indo-British trade is 10 times more than Into-Argentine trade, and Indian oil companies are in talks for oil explorations in Falklands with British based Falkland Oil and Gas Ltd , so it's natural for India to side with UK.

India should back Argentina too, UK lost it's importance in global arena. Time to form alliance with the emerging powers.

No need to side with anyone . Why bother the West or Argentina for some dispute that is none of our concern ? Lets build as many relations across the world and build our country .

No need to take sides , stay neutral .
