His, Beast's, comment is based on a misrepresentation of:
"The Indian Navy's ASW Air asserts or (sic) the second biggest in the world"
China audacious claims of imposing a naval blockade with just ten submarines
Noted in his response, in which he claims:
"Indian mavy (sic) best ASW after US? I think you forget about RN or JMSDF who possess some huge asset of ASW and many years of experience."
China audacious claims of imposing a naval blockade with just ten submarines
He ignores the part about the IN Air Arm being the second biggest, not the second strongest.
India's naval air arm and especially its ASW are the second largest, though Beast does have a good case for Japan edging out India in experience, tactics, training and equipment. Still, at best his comment demonstrates a lack of reading comprehension.
These are no joke. The IN's ASW arm is well equipped with some of the best gear in the world.
Let's not forget that India selected the S-70B to replace its aging SH-3s:
Indian Navy Selects Sikorsky’s S-70B SEAHAWK for Multi-role Helicopter Requirement
India Selects S-70B as Its Naval Multi Role Helicopter, For Now
This is the world's premiere ASW helo
(technically this one's an SH-60, S-70 is the export variant)
Pay no mind to Beast, the IN and its air arm are well equipped to deal with a submarine threat - and we haven't even mention India's own submarines or surface ships!
