China announced China-India border security talk failed, blaming India has unrealistic goals in the talks

I compared the line of captured Indian "soldiers" to migrant labourers, like those unfortunate workers who slave away at construction sites in Gulf petro-monarchies. Now I see that it was an unfair comparison

That's it? You've been receiving a parade of "tight slaps" for two days straight and this is all you've got to say? I thought you were all off having your bovine "energy drinks" and would come back full of p*ss and vinegar, so to speak.
Indians will sit at the negotiation table with a broken leg and swollen eyes and demand concessions from China after failing to take what belongs to China by force.

Indians will sit on their keyboard with a broken ego and swollen eyes and demand actions from China after their entire rethoric was already destroyed by facts on the ground.

Magra is confused. China controlled Aksai Chin since 1960s. India just claims it. The buffer is to seal off india from being able to access Aksai Chin.

The purpose of India's attack in January 2020 was to take the land west of Aksai China which is not controlled by either side. They kept patrolling it but then in January 2020 they increased it to a point China thought they were trying to capture it and so PLA was sent in there as well.

PLA didn't change status quo first. India attempted to control that land west of Aksai Chin and first changed it. Then PLA went in kicked india's *** as it is now proven. PLA controlled the whole situation and captured Indians.

Now the negotiation is where India desperately wants to return to status quo that was before India's moves. It is rejected since india was defeated and China wants new status quo of a complete buffer which seals off Aksai Chin from Indian.

India is refusing to accept total buffer because it will seal them off and wants to return to status quo before India made moves in Janurary 2020.

Imagine a skinny kid watching a heavyweight boxing match. The kid is screaming at one of the boxers: "haha you are so weak, you can't even knock the opponent out, I can destroy you at any time. I'm gonna get in the ring to knock you the fk out the way you can't to your opponent."

The kid tries to climb over the ring. Security stops him and holds him back. He screams, "you are a coward. why do you need your goons to protect you?!!"

The boxers ignore the kid, continuing with their match. Suddenly, the kid breaks free of security, jumps into the ring and swings at a boxer. The boxer sees some small little thing move in the corner of his eye and turns around, with his elbow slightly poking back a bit.

This hits the kid straight in the face. The smallest of elbow pokes breaks his nose, swells his eyes and knocks him down. He cries. "You are an evil ambusher and cheater. I wasn't ready. Your goons backstabbed me. Fight me without your thugs!"

Security rushes him to the hospital. On his way out on the stretcher, the kid yells one more time before losing consciousness, "I am going to sue you then fight you 1v1 in a fair way and kick your ***!"

China controls Aksai Chin. If you want buffer, then create one in the land controlled by you. Why should India offer any buffer land?

I am not saying that India has no domestic issues. We will tackle them on our own. Pakistan needs to tackle its own issues and not put its nose between India and China, or else you might get hurt in the crossfire.

Are you serious? I think you don't understand this dispute and the history at all.

The buffer is in the land that is still disputed and previously uncontrolled by either side. India wanted it and we didn't give it. India expected to get this unoccupied land for free and it wasn't given to India.

PLA went in to occupy some parts, India already occupied parts. PLA disengagement for buffer parts and situation isn't resolved but negotiations continue.

Entire Aksai Chin is a disputed land sir, till there is an agreement between India and China.
China already forcibly occupied Aksai Chin, but dont expect India to give any more land in the name of disputed land.
thats the thing they are not asking for india to offer anything they are beating indian a**es and getting their buffer zone!

while yindus cry and moan on tweeper and threat china on internet!

if keyboard could win the battles yindus would be rulers of the world!

Both nations will keep troops in forward areas for a second freezing winter as 17-month standoff continues.

Talks between Indian and Chinese army commanders to disengage troops from key friction areas along their border have ended in a stalemate and failed to ease a 17-month standoff that has sometimes led to deadly clashes, the two sides say.

The continuing standoff means the two nations will keep troops in the forward areas of Ladakh for a second consecutive winter in dangerously freezing temperatures.

India’s defence ministry, in a statement on Monday, said it gave “constructive suggestions” but the Chinese side was “not agreeable” and “could not provide any forward-looking proposals.”

A statement from a Chinese military spokesperson said “the Indian side sticks to unreasonable and unrealistic demands, adding difficulties to the negotiations”.

The commanders from both armies met for the talks on Sunday, after a gap of two months, at Moldo on the Chinese side in the Ladakh area.

Both countries have stationed tens of thousands of soldiers backed by artillery, tanks and fighter jets along the de facto border called the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

Since February, both India and China have withdrawn troops from some faceoff sites on the northern and southern banks of Pangong Tso, a glacial lake at 14,000 ft (4,270 metres), Gogra and Galwan Valley, but they continue to maintain extra troops as part of a multi-tier deployment.

Troops have been added at Demchok and Depsang Plains, Indian media reports say.

Sunday’s talks came amid frustration expressed by the Indian army chief at what he called the massive deployment of troops and weaponry by the Chinese side.

“Yes, it is a matter of concern that the large-scale buildup has occurred and continues to be in place, and to sustain that kind of a buildup, there has been an equal amount of infrastructure development on the Chinese side,” General M M Naravane said on Saturday.

“So, it means that they (China) are there to stay. We are keeping a close watch on all these developments, but if they are there to stay, we are there to stay, too,” he said.

The Chinese statement from Senior Colonel Long Shaohua of the Western Theater Command said “China’s determination to safeguard its sovereignty is unwavering, and China hopes India will not misjudge the situation”.

Temperatures in the forward areas in Ladakh drop to -30 Celsius (-22 Fahrenheit) around January. Troops from both sides used to retreat to their traditional summer holding positions but they have remained in place near the disputed border since the faceoff started in May 2020.

Last year, 20 Indian troops were killed in a clash with Chinese soldiers involving clubs, stones and fists along the disputed border. China said it lost four soldiers.

The LAC separates the Himalayan territories from Ladakh in the west to India’s eastern state of Arunachal Pradesh, which China claims in its entirety. India and China, whose frontier runs for 3,500km (2,200 miles), fought a deadly war over the border in 1962.

Since the standoff began last year, the Chinese have been building build dozens of large weather-proof structures along the LAC in eastern Ladakh for their troops to stay in during the winter. New helipads, widening of airstrips, new barracks, new surface-to-air missile sites and radar locations have also been reported by Indian media.

Damn Indian arrogance is still on another level
that shit just never goes, 2 front scenario

only India would be hurting, conventionally speaking or if they concentrate on Pak- China would run through, if on China
China would still probably run through but will take a little longer

Concentrate on both at the same time- say good buy to any land China desires

There's a reason why every sane expert look at this situation as a catastrophy and your Soy-boy of a PM is literally scared s***** just look at his week responses to know what he is about

We are not asking for 2 front scenario. Its Pakistan which is hoping for such a scenario as it wants to piggyback on China for fighting with India.

Pakistan doesn't want any war and doesn't beleive in war. It was your facist government and chai wala who bombed trees and killed crows at balakot before we responded and beat the crap out of Indians, gave your IAF a bloody nose literally, can check the pics, with blood covered face of Abhinandan. Unlike India who never provides any pics(because there are none) and start spamming bollywood pictures.

Pakistan army even being 7 times smaller can easily defend against whatever India has to offer and Yindus can do nothing about it.

Yes yes.. Pak army is so almighty that it regularly ignores its own army and sends irregulars to fight its war. Now it is hoping Taliban would help them get Kashmir.

China is currently going through a lot of domestic issues - debt crises and power crises. CCP at this time cannot afford to be seen making any concessions on the international front. It needs to show its population how strong the country is. Hence, you see them making aggressive moves over Taiwan. Now you see this belligerent statement over India.
I suspect that talks will go on but China would continue to be unyielding for sometime and may make more aggressive statements to satisfy its populace.

India has laid its position clear that it is asking for disengagement on the 2 remaining friction points. If China is saying that this is unreasonable demand, it should make its position public.
Indian is a good meat to divert all those problem according to you. By giving a good whacking will definitely gives us good morale! :enjoy:
