Mind you the Vietnamese could not have defeated the US without the help from China and most important of all the Americans did not dare cross the 17th parallel after losing the Korean War. So how can Vietnam even defeat that short war against China? It was a strategic/tactical/political win for China in 1979 and why do you bring in the Mongols? Uncle Ho Chi Minh was a life member of the Communist Party of China and he was send to Annam by Mao Tze Dong solely for that mission.

To check those archived information, you will need to be a very senior member of both these communist parties in order to check the internal memos.
