Sure. China is so bad that FDI keep pouring in. Anyone who think America or the west would share its latest tech with China is a delusional fool even if Chinese changed the laws regarding intellecutal property rights.

Boeing does it because of cost benefits and non tecnical assembly for the most part. China does not need to do that as they have the manpower and the factories to do it all domestically.

If one of these myriads of companies go on strike, it delays everything for Boeing. Corporate america is too greedy. China is smart. Producing almost everything at home creates jobs, improves logistics and technical experience.

Actually it is greed but not for the reasons you think. If Boeing agrees to outsource part of a plane to some country then when that country wants to buy planes Boeing has more appeal.

The 787 was a test for outsourcing to gain appeal. It caused numerous delays and the costs went up not down.

The F35 is another plane they are trying to do this with...see how it's costs have skyrocketed.
