Had he forgotten the day when his long march was packed back to Islamabad.
Where was Mustafa Kasmal before Musharraf and after Musharraf.
If Mustafa Kamal may have done not good than he may have blamed Musharraf for all troubles of Karachi.
All of Kamal's good work is history now, no more development.

yeah, that is a fact. since after the musharaf's government, there are no more developments. Whatever he is blamed about, but yeah on economic hand he did a lot to improve Pakistan. And it was him who brought Freedom to Media by issuing licenses to private channles which no other gov. did in 62 years.

Regarding Mustafa Kamaal, he has been phenomenal and has brought Karachi on the world map yet again.. BUT don't mix qualities of Mustafa Kamal with some political party that he openly claims to belong to. MQM has been elected many times before and Karachi remained the way it was.

My poor memory but wasn't Musharraf the guy who banned TV Channels, disapproved TV Programs and blocked roads with containers from Karachi to Jehlum and at every bridge in Pakistan? Wasn't he the guy who used to lift people from homes because he suspected them to be terrorists, without any investigation, without any allegations and without trial? Wasn't he the guy who allowed Murderers, Robers and great people like Zardari get 160 bullion rupees and approved NRO? Wasn't he the guy because of whom Kashmir Policy got to a degree where we are "begging" India to start dialog and before that it was India that used to do so. Wasn't he the characterless guy who made Public Promises and Broke them shamelessly? (Zardari did too and both are shameless to the bone) Wasn't he the guy because of whom we are baring Zardari as President of the Country?? This government is worse, the one before Musharf wasn't any better either but the time this Nation has seen in the form of Musharaf is historiclly-black! Have you forgotton qualities of Mushara'f hand-picked prime minister? Too bad you have stopped looking at the cost of Musharaf that this Nation is still baring.

It is good to see CJP praising Gen. Musharraf indirectly.

This has been the case even in the times of NS and BB but the main difference is that he gave the freedom to the media which was never the case in NS and BB regimes.

Restrictions on the media can be equally blamed on NS, BB and Gen. Musharraf BUT the credit for the freedom of media can only be given to Gen. Musharraf.

Also, Gen. Musharraf didn't ban the entire media only a few channels for a few days.

Only know about Karachi and that was the doing of MQM.

Go and ask the families of the victims of Rawalpindi, Lahore, Peshawar and Jhelum if Gen Musharraf's action were not right and then you will get your answer.

NRO was BB specific and supported by NS (who happens to be another chor)

Even without NRO, Zardari was eligible to run for President. Zardari is there because PPPP got most seats in the house. This is called democracy. If you don't agree then wait for the next elections.

As far as the City Nazim's work for Karachi is concerned, he really has done a tremendous job; and the one who has done well should be praised. I really wished if other City Nazims would haven taken the same amount of pain for the development of their respective cities, but unfortunately this is not the case. We should be happy for Karachi's development as it is a key city of Pakistan and hope that other Nazims should take lesson and work like that in future.

Nothing wrong with it, I think re-conciliation is flavour of the day. I think he cvn be more unbiased by looking into the wealth of NS along with the NRO cases.

I really doubt about the authenticity of this news. Seems to be another false self-praise and self-advertisement by MQM - something they have mastered in recent times. Sounds like another MQM's youtube video.

MQM agents have been working very hard at building a good PR campaign to put make up on their ugly criminal activities like no one else. I have to give them credit for it though

I cannot forget the day when Geo, Aaj, and other media channels offices were attacked political workers of JI and Imran Khan were mercilessly slaughtered on the streets of Karachi in broad daylight. All was broadcasted live on tv.

MQM is still a Mafia no doubt. Anyone that speaks up against them is still kidnapped or killed. and that is reality of life in karachi.

Can anyone highlight what exactly he has done that he deserves so much praise? and then I will tell you how each development project led by Kamal is riddled with corruption.

He has changed the map of KHI in 4 years. Despite the disagreement with the policies of MQM every person in KHI praises the mayor.
