It doesn't matter if the projects were 'C' for corrupted because the projects were 'C' for completed.

You live in Canada so you should know that most of the govt. projects have elements of corruption but people are happy because there are results, there is an end product.

Projects under Mustufa Kamal were probably riddled with high level of corruption but that is the way in the corporate world.

Would you prefer Nawaz Sharif's 'qarz utaro, mulk savanro?

Also keep in mind that Pakistani society has become very corrupt so corrupt people will rule over corrupt people.

Last but not least, I am a Karachite who have never supported MQM and still don't support MQM but believes in giving credit where due.

Regarding Mustafa Kamaal, he has been phenomenal and has brought Karachi on the world map yet again.. BUT don't mix qualities of Mustafa Kamal with some political party that he openly claims to belong to. MQM has been elected many times before and Karachi remained the way it was.

There was no local government system before Musharraf took over the government
MQM won the 1987 local government elections in which dr farooq sattar was elected as the mayor but it has been 23 years since then you cant claim that he did nothing when he was the mayor
Situation of Karachi was different 23 years ago
As the population is growing the problems are also growing and the future nazims will face more challenges and difficulties running this city than the current nazims and town nazims
