Of all the cities of Europe, Moscow ranks first in the highest number of Muslims. The untold story is the number of people from a Muslim background who are quietly turning to Christ; more than two million people from various ethnic Muslim backgrounds have converted from Islam to Christianity in Russia.

(Wheaton, IL)—Russian Ministries has published the Message of Glory New Testament, a new attempt to provide God's Word and encourage revival among people from a Muslim background in the former Soviet Union.

According to a news release from Russian Ministries, of all the cities of Europe, Moscow ranks first in the highest number of Muslims. Post-Soviet republics are gaining international notoriety with ties to terrorist groups and activities.

When reports of radical Islam grab widespread media attention, Russian Ministries said most people conclude that Christianity is not making headway in appealing to Islamics.

However, the ministry said, the untold story is the number of people from a Muslim background who are quietly turning to Christ.

According to Russian Ministries, Roman Silyantev, a Russian expert on Islam, estimates that more than two million people from various ethnic Muslim backgrounds have converted from Islam to Christianity in Russia.

In contrast, Silantev estimates that the number of ethnic Russians who have converted to Islam is between two thousand and five thousand.

Those who decide to embrace Christianity will grow in their new faith as they study the Bible. Russian Ministries said that's the primary motivation behind its publication of the Message of Glory New Testament.

Russian Ministries said revival is taking place one heart at a time in these post-Soviet republics where ethnic people are historically tied to Islam. God is working, revealing Himself through visions and dreams, as well His Word.

"God is calling people out of Islam to repentance and faith in Christ," said Russian Ministries' President Sergey Rakhuba speaking in a news release.

The population hit a historic peak at 148,689,000 in 1991, just before the breakup of the Soviet Union, but then began a decade-long decline, falling at a rate of about 0.5% per year due to declining birth rates, rising death rates and emigration. The decline slowed considerably in late 2000s, and in 2009 Russia recorded population growth for the first time in 15 years, with a growth rate of 23,300.[7][8] As of 2013, Russian TFR of 1.7 children per woman[3] is among the highest in Eastern Europe.

However in 2010, the population began to rise due to better health care, rising fertility, and falling emigration. In 2012, Russia's population increased by 292,400 people.[9]

According to the 2010 census, ethnic Russian people make up 81% of the total population. Six other ethnicities have a population exceeding 1 million – Tatars (3.9%), Ukrainians (1.4%), Bashkir (1.1%), Chuvash (1%), Chechens (1%) and Armenians (0.9%). In total, 160 different ethnic groups live within the Russian Federation's borders.

The russians faced hell with the chechens they got so scared that they then accepted a so called "Moderate" son of a war lord to rule over checniya the chechen govermnent has then utilised russian money to build mosques and islamic centeres across checniya and celebrate chechen identity and culture and islam.

Because the russians were so worried about the alternative that they let the chechens do what they want and fund them as well
Better they build mosques and give goverment money to parents who name their children mohammed then the alternative




Guys like Doku achieved their aim for a more islamic checniya one way or the other

So countless articles are not enough for you about the spread of islam in Russia

Russians problem is not enough give a toss about their own religion and they expect muslims to follow suit



When someone enters the freedom fighter field, they know life is short and against massive odds they work to achive their aims, in this case freedom for checniya

Once again the guy & guys like him past, present and future have been vital in allowing muslims in the caucases from checniya to dagestan and tataristan and beyond more freedom from the state to practice islam

For one reason alone, they fear if they impede basic islamic practice too much from the various ethnicities then those people will join guys like Doku in fighting back


One final thing has their actually been any confirmation or Russian acceptance of his death
