There's nothing "unislamic" about names. When a person becomes muslim it's not required of him to change names as per sharia, so long as it doesn't contradict God or his teachings as in its not evil per sharia.

This phase is temporary and all the areas will be back under the sway of Dharma. They will need to renamed back at that point.

The name of Van Radha Ram shouldnt have been changed if it was named after Sir Ganga Ram... Though i agree colonial names should be wiped!
