Changing Fixing Name on Passport and other ID/Edu Documents

Alright guys, I'm living in Dubai and I want to fix the spellings as well as the surname in my documents which was first wrongly done on my Metric Certificate and has carried over since.

That means my Nicop, Passport, Metric, College, University Degrees and all are carrying the wrong spellings and wrong surname, which was not originally part of my name but was added to it in the metric certificate.
Though its the name of my father but the problem it creates is in my documents here in Dubai it shows twice.

To give you an example

Seven Hector => Original Name
Sevven Hecctor Titan => Added to Metric Certificate

UAe documents show as = > Sevven Hecctor Titan Titan Major (Fathers name repeated twice because of the rules here)

This creates plenty of issues for me specially when dealing with receiving online and western union type transfers.


So any ideas how do I go about it?
Should I just get it changed in my ID and passport and that's good? Or should I go about changing everything as a whole?

What's the process for changing in ID and Passport?
Are there any people/consultants who do this from UAE/Dubai?

It is not easy and you need to be there in Pakistan and an active person who pursues it.

First you need to corrected metric certificate and for that you need birth certificate and plenty of other documents and at least 10000 pkr plus at least 30 days of dhakas.....

forget it, try to adjust what you have....

In india you need a court order to change your name in metric certificates... In court you have to give genuine reason of name change. and i think same would be the procedure in Pakistan as well.

You can do most of the things online. As that would be just edit and now pakistan has online portal for edit, renew but fees will.be bit higher.
However you need to be here for 1 or 2 main things and the rest can be handles by through website.

I'm an Internet Marketer and pursuing an Entrepreneurial path, so I won't be needing those documents more often anyway, nor do I have any intention of migrating to some western nation and take an oath of slavery of some queen or some other "sovereign" besides The Almighty.


Psychologically speaking, I'm a type 4 Individualist, having a unique and different persona is of extreme importance for me and hence fixing these details lol, so I'll pursue them even if it takes quite a bit of effort.

Then don't care about time and money go for it and correct your documents.

What I think you need to go to hospital where you were born and takeout birthcertificate from there with correction then you need to go your area UC and attest it then go to nadra for change name of birth certificate for that you need to have father and mother nic with you. After that apply for nic name change. Then go to school and get the school registration fixed after that go to ssc board for fix and take out mark sheet from there and so on.

There is for nadra and also for SSC i think for education. But first basic things you need to do yo have to be there. Like correcting your name from root lik hospital.

higher education portal will also come handy for attestation you will need to verify your degree so it will go both ways and will take time which you said you wouldn't mind it.
