Yes they do. They pay heavy salaries and packages to lure foreigners.

This isn't begging but mere incentivization and this is just for highly skilled workers. What about blue-collar workers? UAE pays them pathetic salaries and people from South Asia are still dying to go there.

They don't beg people to come to their country for work either. People still go there for work despite knowing that they will never be able to get UAE citizenship.

Yea because its easy to go... u cant get even visiting visa easily of US Canada so dont have any other option

The gulf states actually indulge in the practice of keeping passports and use this as a danda to keep workers in line. They 'discipline' you seen there is partly a result of this fear that they have created. Forget blue collar workers, even Emirates pilots have been threatened

They don’t give citizenship to expatriate, who spend their whole life building their country. So it’s just a narrow pool of rich local folks.

Compare it to US passport, all kinda people enter or immigrant to US and then after some years, US issues them their passport. Despite all this US passport doesn’t lose its value. This is the real power of the passport.

If you are travelling genuinely on business, you will get a visa
If you are tourist who can meet the requirements you will get a visa

If you are piss poor, you can't travel overseas in the first place, so it doesn't matter if you don't get that visa
If you are piss poor and want to travel illegally, you don't need a visa

Passport in pakistan should only be issued to people after they have taken a 6 months long course on how to behave like a decent human being…. Teach them etiquette and social norms. Can’t count how many times I’ve seen first time pakistani travellers deliberately causing mischief, caught thieving, or just being rude karens in foreign countries… Dragging the whole nation’s reputation down. In china they penalize the people who make a bad image of china abroad and even give classes, this started when the whole chinese tourist fiasco in europe happened.

No it’s not…. I have many times been searched thoroughly in different airports while those with American or UAE passports just pass through scanning… freakin annoying at this point.

It sucks when you have to visit multiple countries at once and without advance notice. Used to happen to me quite often 10 years ago. By the time the damn visa gets processed, the reason I needed to be there is already gone.
