CCTV Footage of foiled terror attack in Peshawar

.
not hard to guess where the animal who got shot and killed was from

good shooting on the double

This video shows the situation that our security forces face , the difference between the haramzada who attacks the soldier from behind and the passer by is almost non-existing , the enemy hides in plain sight
Just like in Iraq the terrorist if from within to deal with you have to deal harshly with the locals.

.
The guy standing with the vehicle was the conductor and he ran for saving his life but the other guy who crossing the road is also saving his life and not a terrorist otherwise he would not run without firing. But as some one said the main creature was may be in another vehicle and it was just to make him escape

.
Actually two soldiers ran after the one who ran away. One fell but the other pursued him, I'm not sure if he got him or not.

Even if he wasn't a khudkush it makes sense to take cover as soon as possible.

Certainly not a misunderstanding; no one conceals a rifle, takes it to a checkpost and shoots a soldier because of a misunderstanding.
at 14 second the guy who approached the vehicle actually pulled out a pistol and fired at the guy who's helmet fell on the ground and he also shot at the guy who fell down while perusing the runaway guy. not sure if it was the shot that made the solder to fall on the ground but the assailant then dropped his weapon after receiving shots and lingered back and then was finished off by the reinforcements that made some new holes in his behind.

Just like in Iraq the terrorist if from within to deal with you have to deal harshly with the locals.
wahabi terrorists in Iraq were the worse kind. they doped the poor labourers by pretending to be employers and as they will gather round the vehicle they will explode it.
these wahabis have no limit to sink in terms on sickness and barbarianism.
another common theme of these wahabis from middle east to Pakistan is that they use women clothing to hide themselves.

I realized that too after watching it a few more times, it's a pistol but his other arm is in an awkward position and I thought it was a rifle or SMG - it also looks like there's a little muzzle flash when the soldier's helmet falls down.

that guy came out of nowhere and actually shot at our men unchallenged. our guy who lost the helmet in the beginning was lucky to survive after probably being shot at close range. I agree the assailant had something else under his chador
I have checked the video many times to see what is happening in the background. our recovery is good for sure. at such lose proximity and long hours of searching it is hard to concentrate and react but thats where training comes in.

looking at the guy who got shot in the end suggests that either it was a preplanned attack or he came out of another vehicle to confront the soldiers once his comrades were marked.

clearly the terrorists were travelling in separate passenger vehicles to escape suspicion. if anyone of them had suicide vest then it would have had a tragic end for civilians and soldiers

It looks like someone helped him open the door for him as I've seen it.

Yes Pakistan is majority sunni, second largest Muslim country interms of poppulation and a huge Shia population too, after Iran highest number of Shias are in Pakistan, despite being sunni many of our leaders were Shias, eg Benazir, Zardari etc , even our Founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a shia, so at the bureaucratic, military and governmental level there is no discrimination in Pakistan, it is only a few radicals funded from gulf countries who try to create artificial hatred.

To day it was on the news the sunni tribes en counseler call for the moblize popular forces to retake Anbbar from ISIS!!

That's a great news for Iraqis and bad news for the terrorism supporters.

Hmm pansy arse fcks cant even muster enough courage to fight like a man yet fail. By the looks he seems like a brainwashed kid.

One soldier should probably watch stand guard and watch the back side for more freaks like this guy while another performs search procedures

.
Does not matter how it was handled, would have been better, but end result matters.... The soldiers stood their ground & did what they are trained to do... Kill the scums bags doesnt matter how.... Proud of these brave men .....

What i don't understand is what the hell is going on? Why did that unarmed pedastrian come up to the soldier? How did the soldier fall down? What is going on? Could it be a misunderstanding?

My bad, but i don't see a rifle. Am i missing something?

The guy in brown approached the soldier from behind with his pistol drawn. You can see the man in black motion to the guy in brown as he begins to approach our soldier too (at the very least the guy in black did clearly see the man in brown approaching with his pistol drawn) and then just before the guy in brown fires the shot they both seem to step closer to the soldier together (the man in black seems to raise his hands towards the soldier).

Then, as Irfan Baloch said, the shot is fired. Either it misses or ricochets off the soldier's helmet (or maybe went through him) and then goes through the bottom left corner of the wind-screen of the car. At 00:07 you can clearly see the wind-screen shatter. This is what made the soldier fall down. It is very clear that both these maggots were terrorists and in cahoots. Thinking that they were just a harmless passer-by and a scared bus conductor is just plain stupidity.

This could have been handled better. Where was overwatch? Why was no one keeping an eye on the passengers of the car? Also, the checkpoint needs hesco barriers or sandbags for cover.

With that said, I'm not in their shoes, so can't say for sure if this could have been handled any better.
