Yup, you could have said no sane person likes Ottomans. Although there is no reason to dislike them, but I understand you if you mean that looking to the past, or looking them from a religious point of view is stupid.

Bro, don't get me wrong, and I obviously don't mind it if someone wants to like us, turks, or part of our history, but, why do you love them?!!! Ottomans had nothing to do with Pakistan. Some religious morons may like them because of that caliphate stuff, but you are not even a muslim, and are an agnostic. So, it does not make sense for me.

That's a good approach. As long as they are seen as the historical heritages and not for the religious causes, turks will like them.
