Car bomb rips through crowd in Yemeni capital - Middle East - Al Jazeera English

A car bomb has exploded outside a police college in Yemen's capital Sanaa, killing at least 38 people, police sources and residents in the area have said.

A police source said on Wednesday that a dozen others were wounded in the explosion that targeted a centre of Houthi fighters near the police academy officers’ club.

The blast was heard across the city and a large plume of smoke was visible in the area of the college.

Al Jazeera's Omar Al Saleh, reporting from Sanaa, said the pictures coming out from the scene suggest the number of casualties is likely to rise.

In Yemen there's news weekly of Houthis and Houthi area's being struck by suicide bombings, here another terror attack from your Al Jazeera showing it's AQAP which you've been worshipping.

At least 49 Shia fighters were killed in the attack in Ibb on Wednesday when a suicide bomber dressed as a woman detonated explosives at a gathering in a cultural centre.

The large explosion also wounded 70 people, medics at the scene told the AFP news agency.

Well, I think Yemen(just like pakistan with the pakistani taliban)shouldn't go after these terrorists/extremists who committed this atrocity. Since doing so, will be like poking them and making them even more angry, hence making them commit even more such atrocities/killings/suicide bombings. AQ targets government forces often, in 2012 they carried out a large suicide attack against the Yemeni military parade, of course they claimed responsibility cause this was a great achievement to them.
