Not acceptable. I don't know whether we have poor training/equipment or terrorists are well trained, whenever I hear news about killing/encountering terrorists. almost equal numbers of our jawans are martyred as well.

well the terrorists are no doubt well trained in guerilla warfare. secondly they are totally brain washed(their foot soldiers) and they think they are doing jihad. thirdly they are few in numbers as compare to army and in plain clothes. they have the advantage of observing the army movements while hiding. we dont have and cant have 24/ surveillance of the entire area. so sometimes it becomes easier for them to ambush our soldiers while they are on any search operation.

although it depends on how the attack happened. Getting better vehicles with telescopic cameras, that protect against IEDs, when driving by or having to get out an search, should be a top priority. Using more drones to search an area, leaving cameras in strategic places to monitor movement in a known enemy area. While guerilla warfare gives the element of surprise, decreasing physical contact, and using technology gives some advantage back to the Military.
