Yes I do believe you Indian only got the left over…you might get better weapons than China for now but we catch up fast and render your new weapons procurement obsolete…you will never get the latest defence technology other than a second hand…example :even Pak-Fa (T-50), you will get the downgrade version certainly not the version that Russian has in mind…same as for Rafale, Europe fighter and U.S fighters..only the downgrade versions are offered for sale…so it’s a left over…no nations will give away to India the latest fighting machine at the expense of their own national security…you Indians always believe the by create a competitions and force these competitors to reveal their latest technology and TOT to india…that’s a lunatic dream…so my conclusion you India only get the left over.

I am talking about Airframe design,or complete plane, Not some technology. DSI is not something you chinese have invented. It was there since many decade (at least since last 5 decades), If you are regular PDF visitor, You must know it. Aviation fraternity still believe that J10 is copy of LAVI. J20 is said to inspired by MiG1.44 (tail part) and F22/35 (Nose section). there is nothing wrong in getting inspired from some design.

Having said that It is strongly believed that China has not get any technological help/theft from Russia and USA, so I can say J20 is truly Chinese design (made by china, Made in china, made with chinese skills).

We have not denied that we need some advance weapons from outside…we only want to pay for TOT but not to buy large quantities such as India and we certainly not want to be milked as the way they milk India such as C-17 cost as tipical example.
The per unit cost being charged from India by the US for the C-17 is USD 410 million whereas it is sold to Australia at a price of USD 300 million per aircraft.

Chinese have been now producing aircrafts for 50 years while full indigenous ones for nearly 15 years now. coming up with J-20 shows their rapid growth.

Typhoon and all current aircrfts are a generation behind the j-20 and f-22 unless some new superior method of detection is found it would be a impossibility in one to one ration for typhoon to knock a j-20 as it cant simply see it.

on simulations the typhoon with SUPPORT of AWACS has been able to facea f-35 ..but you will require many AWACS ..
that leads to an intersting fact..why isnt india investing much in short terms to address that issue..if its comparing itself to china..

LCA program officially took help from French and Americans, so we can not say it copy. And all yellow thing is not gold, same way all delta wing is not Mirage.
