Indeed we did not have western choice since 1989 but we have our own choice to select design and configure the fighter as we want, we're master of our own destiny unlike India that had no choice that accept the left over of the plate from others.

I agree with you, China has done a lot to make J-20 a reality. Chinese faced a lot of issues while developing J-20, They overcame all the situation with there hard work and dedication.

I disagree, J20 is first true Indigenous Fighter craft made by china, Prior to it all machines were either copy of stolen Idea from Russia/Israel.

J20 is first machine which china is making on its own (without ripping off some other plane). Aviation fraternity strongly believe that USA provided Lavi's design to counter there arch rival (Russian) economy.

Yes I do believe you Indian only got the left over…you might get better weapons than China for now but we catch up fast and render your new weapons procurement obsolete…you will never get the latest defence technology other than a second hand…example :even Pak-Fa (T-50), you will get the downgrade version certainly not the version that Russian has in mind…same as for Rafale, Europe fighter and U.S fighters..only the downgrade versions are offered for sale…so it’s a left over…no nations will give away to India the latest fighting machine at the expense of their own national security…you Indians always believe the by create a competitions and force these competitors to reveal their latest technology and TOT to india…that’s a lunatic dream…so my conclusion you India only get the left over.

As for China…we don’t want to depend other for service parts and bullets or we will be easily get blackmail..that you Indian never understands…so the outcome is very obvious…we want every defense equipments include bullets and service manuals are “made in China”…and the reaction of the potential suppliers are also obvious…since they can’t milk China as how they milk India..so no TOT nor weapons export to China….that didn’t prevent us to steal and copy as you pointed out previously and still keep our military armada up to day.
