this Cleric continues to taunt Pakistani state and take a piss at its civilian and military setup. his female follower students have openly offered their virginity to Daesh Jihadists and invited Al Baghdadi to come to Pakistan. the Cleric broke the half arsed prevention order on him and led a rally in Islamabad together with his snake tongued wife taunting the state and demanding wahabi Shariah in Pakistan and got away with it because he has sympathizers in current government.

since both are allies and hate General Musharaf and Pak Army to the core so it remains to be seen if anything will be done by the Government apart from another round of "treason" hearing of Musharraf?

I am sure that Nawaz family wont be in any illusion that it wll be out of reach of the Americans even in Saudi Arabia. and talking about Saudi Arabia.. the same country which funds the organisation and individuals like Red Mosque Cleric

Last week there was a hiring process in my team, where there couple of M.S. students who came from Lahore University...You know what is the immediate impact of this incident, these chaps are not selected for even 1st round of interview...and the tragic part is that although me and my team was informed that we are going to take up interview this week, but they postponed citing unnamed reason...You can very well understand what can be the unknown reason..

The short answer is no. It is also important to note that Mullah Burka's impunity arises from the broad swathe of support within Pakistani society, no matter which government is in power. A dictator failed to uproot him just the same as the present government cannot uproot him. It is Pakistani society that is the root of the problem, not these superficial figureheads.

Why Pakistan govt and military get rid of this snake pit called Lal Masjid?

If there is ever presence of ISIS in Pakistan Lal MAsjid and South Punjab where sectarian terrorists still thrive, will be the base camps.

Its ironic that PMLN govt has strong political ties with both this mullah and sectarian terrorists of south Punjab.

If Pakistan wants ISIS never comes into its borders, it has to ensure Lal Masjid cleric and his followers are taken to task.

Terrorists are cowards. This man ran away in a woman's burqa from Lal Masjid when Musharraf undertook an operation there.

I m no believer in conspiracy theories. But I stopped believing western media when it comes to giving coverage to events or incidents they cite as terror acts. I will wait for more info before I begin to believe the unfortunate incident in California was a terrorist act.

look at the tragedy and irony of Judicial independence which was expressed by vengeful CJ CH ifitikhar by ordering the release of all captured combatants of red mosque.. despite the fact that some of them not only claimed and accepted their role in the violence but promised to continue to fight the state if they are freed
I agree with rationalization of the public specially that part of the country... they have repeatedly attacked a small shia community in the nearby village and even burnt people alive in one of their attacks which was witnessed by sunni neighbours but no one dared to apprehend the culprits

The "REAL" question is, why has the mighty Army NOT taken this guy out???? One one hand, people like YOU, tell ALL of us readers that "Pak Army runs the show in Pakistan" and NS is a stooge and all, and that Pak Army is the real power.

So why did the "real power", aka, the Pak Army not take these terrorists out???? The operation in Pakistan is being run by the Pak Army. If they can go after people from PPP, why would they NOT go after this terrorist cleric who is apparently well know?

Again, so whoever "released them", I agree, that was fukked up to do. No doubt. BUT....at this time and for the past 7 years or more, the Pak Army is in command of many MASSIVE operations against these terrorists.....why are these terrorists STILL walking free from what you are telling us? But we hear these reports of "how fast" the terrorists are being killed by the Pak Army????? And then we are told that the "Army" really runs the country and they tell NS what to do.

But your posts here suggest NS is running the show and saving this terrorist.....which is contradictory to the real situation???? The real situation is, the Army IS IN CHARGE of taking out ALL terrorists from Pakistan. If this guy is walking free, then the Army isn't doing it right, otherwise, they can find out where this guy is.....just got to ask someone in that "fortress like building" belonging to a "three letter organization" is Islamabad (yes, the ISI should know ALL about this guy).
