That phrase says it all about Pakistan these days. The criminals rule the roost and the nation is happy to follow them into the depths of hellish chaos. Am I being being pessimistic or just realistic? Events are thus far proving me right in the five years that I have been here on PDF.

So why did the "real power", aka, the Pak Army not take these terrorists out?

The Army needs to maintain its facade of being the Army of Allah too. They are equally to blame for this situation.

I mean look at the height of the absurdity that Musharraf faces murder charges from the son of red mosque mullah and treason charges from the Nawaz government .. when there iss that Cleric openly taunting Pakistan and its constitution and inviting Daesh to come to Pakistan..

The problem and solution lies in Pakistan itself. The population has to come out and demand execution of mulla burka and lal mosque terrorists.

I don't understand why the army and intel is quiet? Why don't they add another person in missing person list?

These kind of incidents are causing tremendous emotional and mental problems for Pakistanis in USA who otherwise are very educated and financially strong.

Because in this day and age we have huge Pakistani diaspora all over the world the problem has been carried abroad to distant countries. Because the army is drawn from the general population and it too harbours similar sentiments. It would take a statesman of Napoloen's stature to carry out root and branch reordering of society. We will have to wait a long time for our Ataturk as the most likely cohort to produce such a man was the British recruited officer cadre of the Pakistan Army most which retired by late 1970s.

This is natural. However at least be glad that you live in a law abiding society. Yes, you might get some redneck doing something crazy but if you feel depressed just look at how Pakistan treats it's minorities like Ahmedi - These guy's are not even from abroad.

I think if the Pak military guys start to look at it this way, that if this moron terrorist is taken out, many lives will be saved, I think Allah would reward them more, don't you think? Saving human lives is much bigger than supporting these barbaric terrorists, who have no mercy for innocent human lives, whether be it Pakistan, the US or elsewhere in the world.

So the next logical question would be, now that its obviously confirmed why no one takes this moron out, what should be done to actually take him out?

Remember, this bast*ards influence is inside Islamabad and 70 miles away in Swat valley. The Pakistan elections have always been supported by dozens of millions of people through votes, but even then, it hasn't stopped the military to seize power and do that for over 60 years!!!! So why can't the Pakistani military take this fool out? And why blame Army not being able to take this guy out, onto one, two, ten or fifty "right wing" parties????

All you people are so quick to tell the world that Pakistan is really run by the military and the elected PM's are "just the paper pushers".
