LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Dr Tahirul Qadri has reportedly left for London in the wee hours on Thursday for a three to four-week visit.

Speaking to The Express Tribune, Qadri’s spokesperson confirmed the departure saying that it was a regular visit and the PAT chief might get his medical checkups done and meet with his followers there.

Tahirul Qadri has recently indicated a change in strategy to get justice for the Model Town victims, focusing on a legal and political battle instead of agitation.

“We will speed up legal proceedings for acquiring justice as it is not the right time to get involved in any agitation movement,” said Qadri while addressing a press conference at the PAT head office on January 28, 2018.

The PAT chief also requested Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar to provide justice to ‘the widows and orphans’ of the Model Town incident.

“If parliament fails, people look towards the judiciary for justice. Now victims of the Model Town tragedy are also looking towards the judiciary,” he said.

He said the Senate admitted that parliament failed in dispensing justice while the government had already failed.

Qadri said a petition had been filed for the constitution of a larger bench to provide justice to the families of the Model Town victims and arrest the big fish involved in the incident, including former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.

He came down hard on the ruling party, saying that under its patronage, dozens of Rao Anwar’s involved in murdering innocent people were roaming freely.

“In my opinion, the political elite of the country will not be able to see the month of March,” he said, adding that Sharifs’ days were numbered.

The PAT chief said there could be many differences among the political parties, “but all of them are on the same page” over the Model Town incident. He said a protest on the Mall Road could start within 48 hours but due to the Kasur incident and other issues a plan for the protest could not be devised.

On a future strategy, the PAT chief said decisions would be taken after consultation with all political parties.

People like this fuc.k wit are the worst possible 'creatures' on Earth cause they use the name of God and Prophet for personal gains, and spread mischief and commotion among ordinary people. I only wish the worst possible outcome for him and people like him, not only here on Earth but also the afterlife.

Trust me if imran khan becomes pm
He would do a rally against his government too.
Imran loose by pairing up with riff Raffs like qadri and sheik rasheed.
He has this realixation . He should keep distance Now.
Qadri even in bralvi sect is most notorious personality.

I don't get what is he trying to do, but every time he fails and flies, he loses more of his respect and credibility.

To see his masters, review the failure of recent evil plans, and come up with new evil plans to harm Pakistan. He is seeking more dead bdies, I'm sure. Our enemies badly and desperately need our system be derailed (or at least widespread unrest and chaos in Pakistan) in a last try to sabotage the CPEC project. Alas, this criminal has fled this country even though he is a absconder. Petty and shameful state is ours! Criminals come and go on their own will and our law keeps staring at their faces without any action. Shame on us all.

If he is sabotaging CPEC, and he is an absconder, tu kya FIA jhak mar rahi thi.

Shame on PML-N, Punjab and Federal Government's for failing to arrest him, not all of us. It is the job of the Executive Branch to uphold the law, but unfortunately they are only interested in loot maar and corruption.

Mr Qadri raised awareness about lack of accountability and duel laws for Rich and poor and I think he made a great contribution in Pakistani politics

If someone raises a voice against what is visibly broken that contribution is a positive contribution

There are visible differences between how every day people are treated in Pakistan and how Super elites in political circle are a Treated

His views and thinking are 100% Upto point and very clear and accurate

I agree with you on point that he raised awareness about lack of accountability, and difference between treatment of rich and power, but leaving the struggle in middle makes everything suspicious.

If IK joins hands with people who are raising the voice against injustice and are loyal to Pakistan. Then this shouldn’t be an issue for anyone. If goals are same then joining the hand with loyal people make goal easy to achieve.
