Is it enough???? Especially with the kind of projects cleared by GoI
Yes that's an 8 percent increase more than our gdp growth rate..How much more do you want?

That is what would be interesting, considering the inflation, the actual rise would be much less.
Usually FM makes a statement that in case of requirement more funds will be allocated. Considering the proposed purchases (Rafale, M 777, Apache, Chinook etc), i was expecting an inflation adjusted hike of about 8%. Lets see what experts make out of it.

It is not me who wants it???? My question was with respect to the projects cleared by Goi and the question was is it enough?

YOU DONT HAVE TOILETS FIRST BUILD SOME TOILETS THAN THINK ABOUT DEFENCE @levina
Was that necessary to bring that in this discussion?
anway...
One of the top priorities of the Narendra Modi-led NDA government at the Centre is the Swachh Bharat campaign, and if reports are to be believed, the government has taken the task seriously. The government has built with 7.1 lakh toilets in January under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, reports said.

According The Economic Times, "A total of 31.83 lakh toilets have been built between April 2014 and January 2015, which is 25.4% of the target for 2014-15. The programme entails an investment of nearly Rs 2 lakh crore over the next five years to construct 12 crore toilets in India."

That's the question, with the list of projects that were not fixed last year, I have some doubts but that's depends on how much of that is actually for procurements.
