What's new

British Pakistanis

Religion has caught the best of us in Pakistan. To be fair, you might be surprised to hear that I have noticed that British-Pakistanis are more religious than Pakistanis living in Pakistan (I'm talking overall). I feel sorry for the children that have to go through such pain with circumcision with that disease. Parents should act more responsible.

Actually being religious Isn't bad as long as you're sane and have common sense .
People here don't have common sense and lack of education nd necessaries have further exploited them .
Aaahh !! Sometimes I spend nost of time daydreaming of saving Pakistan .. oh but alas , it's only a dream

I'm a Musharraf era kid, the political party that I remember ruling Pakistan was PPP (2008/2009 onwards). The first time I got excited for an election was the last one and I remember cheering on PTI with all my heart.

I love Pakistan with all my heart and I want Pakistan to be a thriving economy. It seems like a distant dream. I have read alot about the 1960's, 70's and late 80's, to what extent I hear was very peaceful and a strong economy. Especially during Ayub Khan era. I would love to see a strong Pakistan in my life. What happened to PIA, we started Emirates and Singapore Airlines and now our people prefer to travel on them than PIA. :help:

Honesty is what we lack as a nation .
We lack honesty to our country , job , people and that is why mishaps like PIA occurs ..

He might want a better record before he starts dancing. Don't want to be rude but winter is around the corner, will he survive the fast winds?

@Hassan Guy
That ended well for him. Watch from 2:04

The video is fake and was proved a long time ago. He is wearing black gloves when he gets knocked down, but he is wearing red gloves in the entrance. They were two completely different fights.

People who laugh at that video have never entered the ring. It takes courage to take that risk. Uzzy is a decent bloke, he's cock but that's showmanship - it helps him get fights.

Yep pretty much agree with that. Those who laugh at him would go down like a sack of feathers if they got hit with a lesser punch. Win or lose it takes courage to go in there. You can die from a punch....

I'm not laughing at him interms of his fighting skill. I would probably bot go in the ring my self however his actions are not very humble interms of his record. A bit for foreplay looks good if you can back it up.
I would say the same for AK and his former wife; they should also becareful with their actions as it gives impressions. Bring a fight to public is not the right way to go, as same for Uzzy; he new and should develop his record. It doesn't look good if you cant back your actions.

.
Isn't this ironic . They robbed our country for 200 years and now when we're in their country earning legally and respectfully , they kinda despise this.

It is karma in a way. But all the wealth earned by British Asians stays in Britain

Sorry bro, I didn't intend for it to sound as a dig. I found the video funny myself but a friend who is well into the world of boxing helped me change my mind. When he saw that Ko his first reaction was if he was OK or not. He explained the risks involved in going down so hard.

The attitude is showmanship to get a fight. Promoters etc don't arrange fights on merit (not unless it's mandatory) they do it based on the crowds you draw in. Until your established its very difficult to make a career in the sport and control who you fight and when. If stupid antics help draw an audience then as far as the fighter is concerned... Great.

I understand bro, I take my words back aswell. I watched it for entertainment and never really thought about it from his point of view, anyway the video is fake. The glove colour shows it.
Best of luck to him, I can tell his proud to represent both countries which is great!

Sad to say, I know a very small amount of British-Pakistani families in the UK that have somewhat, 6, 7 and even 8 children. I'm glad to say though that I only know a very small amount and as for the rest, yes they are with the national average at around 2 to 3 children. I would also like to add that the few people I know that have a lot of children are trying to take advantage of the system; what I mean by that is, for example one person I know had 7 children and the government told him something like if he had 1 more child then they would get a 5 bed house....
The working class British-Pakistani's are very responsible people, truly hardworking and lovely people however as for the ones taking advantage of the system... What can I say.

It does have a genitive effect on children born, in terms of medically. Right?
What is wrong with having lots of children? Of course if one is able to raise them up correctly, it is a good thing.

There's nothing wrong with that as I have said before. The problem is when people do it to take advantage of the system (benefits, free housing, etc). The example I have given above is of a real person (not making the story up). I know a few people that have kids to get a bigger house from the government, LOL...
If you can afford to have lots of children and want to have lots, then no problem at all but it's not right having the rest of the country having to pay for your children.
I won't really go on to say if having lots of children is good or bad, that depends on people's personal thinking and circumstances.

It is karma in a way. But all the wealth earned by British Asians stays in Britain
A large amount of British Asians that are connected with their Asian heritage have homes back in their countries aswell.

Honesty is a part of it. From my experience: Pakistanis are very greedy and malicious people who wouldn't hesitate to screw over their own including family members. Usually it involves money but sometimes they love to see others crash and burn. They have deep hatred among each other especially those who become successful or challenge cultural norms.
