The best revenge for the occupation for past 200 years in the sub continent is to overtake their countries economy in nominal gdp.They can't digest that and that's going to happen very soon in a year or two.

While I've no wish to conquer their country or see them down but racism in UK against Pakistanis is really a serious issue .
2 Pakistanis were attacked by the acid attack nd it shows kinda troubled situation .
If only Pakistan was a developed country , our countrymen would not have been running here nd there nd get taunted in UK, USA, Arab , Turkey . I wish we could have a respectable life in own country .

Only if there were jobs for everyone in Pakistan. Lets hope for the best.

I read on the social media brits are becoming racist n kinda uncomfortable over the large population of Pakistanis in UK .
Pakistanis have high birth rate , many would've five , five children from their wives nd then they bring their Pakistani relatives to UK . We seriously need to control this attitude especially the birth rate .
So sad , Our corrupt leadership is responsible for the great degradation we are .
While they're doing great effort for the Britain , still these strangers wouldn't value it .

As for the five kids, I have not seen anyone marry in the last 15 years come close to such a figure. In actual fact the British Pakistani population, along with other Asian populations are now close to the national birth rate of around two children.

People around me have 15 ,12, , 7, 10, children while they live in absolute poverty nd filth . I don't know what will be their future , few among them are born handicapped , blind or mentally ill . Blame the cousin marriage .

As for racism do remember that the UK in the PEW survey had amongst the most favourable views of Muslims in Europe at 70%. The Germans and French came at the same level.

The practice is still a 'rivayet' in Pakistan sadly. I can imagine it may have even increased in poorer families-in recent years we have witnessed a 'moral collapse'. This probably lead to families not being able to trust each other

I would also like to add that the few people I know that have a lot of children are trying to take advantage of the system; what I mean by that is, for example one person I know had 7 children and the government told him something like if he had 1 more child then they would get a 5 bed house....
The working class British-Pakistani's are very responsible people, truly hardworking and lovely people however as for the ones taking advantage of the system... What can I say.

Over successive generations of repeated cousin unions it'll result in alarming drawbacks. The problem is that its been done to such an extant that first cousins arent just first cousins, they end up being double cousins and a few other forms of relations as well. Recessive genes for diseases end up compounding/stacking up and that doesn't normally end well.

Other had 11 children , 4 born blind .. 2 blind dead cause of diseases ... 2 normal child dead too due to diseases ..

Basically during the 1970's there was a labour shortage in the UK and to counter that there were mass amounts of Mirpuris that came to the UK to work as labourers. I my self am from Lahore, originally from Walled City.

Religion has caught the best of us in Pakistan. To be fair, you might be surprised to hear that I have noticed that British-Pakistanis are more religious than Pakistanis living in Pakistan (I'm talking overall). I feel sorry for the children that have to go through such pain with circumcision with that disease. Parents should act more responsible.
