Forever as a geographical expression... You need to read what I stated. India subcontinent was there forever because a geographical expression was in existence as long as as the term "geographical existence" itself. But what you are asking for does not exist. As there is no such thing as king of India as this would require a political unit of India. We can say that Europe exist forever as a geographical entity or expression. But Europe never existed as a nation. There is never a king of Europe.

India never existed until British created it. But, India, like Europe, has been in existence, as what Churchill said, a geographical expression, forever. Just like any landmass has been in existence forever in term of human existence.

Now, if you want to talk about geology, India never existed until it slammed into Eurosian landmass and created Himalayas.

Today the only differance in pedigree between India, Pakistan, Bangladesh all republics is that the former also shares a named with a geographic term. Nothing more nothing less. If my name is Alexander it does not mean I also am Alexander the Great. Before anybody dare barks about 'India' before 1947 that was a colony, a empire, built and owned by British that included the following:-

Bangladesh

India

Myanmar

Pakistan

Singapore

Yemen

This was called British India

and it's borders were defined by the farthest the British guns managed to vanquish the 'natives'. The British used the short term 'India' to legally meaning the following:-

"(1.) The expression "British India" shall mean all territories and places within Her Majesty's dominions which are for the time being governed by Her Majesty through the Governor-General of India or through any governor or other officer subordinate to the Governor-General of India.

Then i stumbled upon this thread and some member mentioned how Atanz was shamed in an international history forum. So i then proceed to read his posts on historum.com, and I could not stop laughing. Atanz has to be the most insecure pakistani i have ever seen. This man will go to great lengths to produce garbage from his rear-end and attempt to use it to push his agenda. When challenged and ultimately defeated, he will then attempt to create another thread and use the same garbage. The fact is and will always remain the same. The IVC is shared by all, it is not exclusive to "pakistanis". Those that can refute this, please do so while in the audience of an internation historically assembly. Instead Atanz spews this non-sense to his fellow pakistanis who can't help but agree considering most of them are also insecure and desperate to find their identity. I thought pakistanis first claimed to be the invaders themselves, then they claim they're part of the IVC which just so happens to be in their land. Let me ask you this then, if a hindu living in pakistan that didn't move to india during partition, can said man also put claim on IVC? According to pakistanis, there's no way he can't, because he lives in the country that IVC started. But, Atanz, judging by the shear amount of insults here, I think he has been embarassed yet again.
