From pretend seculars in the parliament and the ethnofascists in the parliament to title holders here. it is the same story. the image you have to sell cannot be sold by ethnofascists or religious bigots.

There is no doubting tribalism is real and natural and präsent in Pakistan but it is overshadowing the national interest which is schade. From both eastern side and Western which is evident on beneficial owners of decisions of the pakistani governments throughout history.

British Airways maiden flight would be given a warm welcome here at Islamabad International Airport and it would be received by Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Sayed Zulfikar Abbas Bukhari, Adviser to Prime Minister on Commerce and Industry Abdul Razak Dawood and Minister for Civil Aviation Division Ghulam Sarwar Khan on the day.

The first flight of British Airways, owned by a Spanish-registered International Airways Group, will take off from Islamabad on June 3 at 09:30 am. Moreover, it will operate three flights a week.

Pakistan!

The Idea of Pakistan was so powerful that millions died for it.

Millions migrated for this Promised Land. It is Our Land. For all of us Paks!

The Idea of Pakistan is so powerful that 80k Paks have been killed to undo it...yet on 23rd of March we all saw that every Pak anywhere in the world was alive to the Idea of Pakistan.

On 28th Paks... Hindu Paks!... were celeberating... Christan Paks were celerbrating... I saw a videos on YouTube... of Paks from Karachi, Lahore, Quetta... from former FATA.... young and old Paks... all were saying in unison... we want Peace...but if war is imposed then we shall finish the job... heck... even I, the deadhorse, felt alive!

My crazy Pathans, Punjabis, Sindhis, Saraikis, Kashmiris, Balochis, Hazras, Gilgit-Baltaistanis... love Pakistan....

You know why?

It is Idea of Pakistan!

After 1400 years Pak is the second State. We must never forget that!

Yes, our #CriminalEnterprise has failed us.

Yes, they have been selling us cheap...

Yes, we have poor economic conditions... and Yes, we have many demons, dark truths about us... it is our failure. We accept it.. we have no other choice but to learn from it.

Zia and his minions laid the foundations of religious divide and extremism in Pakistan which was generously funded by our "brotherly countries" and the in the final moments (read SWAT and Mohmand and Khyber agencies) we realized its not for us and thus we have rejected religious terrorist parties when it comes to making a choice.

Although the foundations of racism in our area is as old as its history, foundations of language/provincial racism was laid during the period of Liaquat Ali Khan. Now the world wanted to divide us again and yet we found our unity after APS, after quetta and after 27/2.

Here is a good news, few days back I gave leaves to my team members to go and enjoy vacations (26th April to 1st may) and they went to northern areas, when they came back they told us that there was a huge influx of foreign tourist there and the locals were treating them very well. According to them the tourist facilities are much better now, of course we have a long way to go but this is positive news.

Having more options to travel to Pakistan is always welcome news. BA is a good airline, and its choice to serve the capital is a good one (perhaps later it can add other major cities too).
