The US investigation has found that the Facebook groups accessed by the friends of JeM handler Kashif Jaan were related to jihad.

Then :
Will Pakistan accept and get rid of terror safe heavens? Will China keep supporting terrorists or put a ban on then at UN?
Pakistan said that India don't provide enough proof : http://indianexpress.com/article/in...e-to-pakistan-jit-on-pathankot-attack-report/

Now this

Two months after asking Pakistan to bring the perpetrators of the 2016 Pathankot terrorist attack to justice, the US has now handed over evidence confirming that the attack on Pathankot airbase did in fact come from Pakistan.

On January 2, 2016, a heavily armed group attacked the Pathankot Air Force Station, part of the India's Western Air Command, killing six Indian security personnel.

India blamed Pakistan-based jihadi group Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) for orchestrating the brutal assault.

According to Times of India, The US informed the NIA that IP addresses of Facebook accounts of JeM handlers who masterminded the attack, and the IP address of the website of the outfit's financial arm, Al Rahmat Trust, are located in Pakistan.

The probe also found that Facebook groups accessed by friends of JeM handler Kashif Jaan, were related to jihad, and JeM had photos of the four killed terrorists -- Nasir Hussain, Hafiz Abu Bakar, Umar Farooq and Abdul Qayum.

"The US has confirmed that all these websites and IP addresses originated in Pakistan and the photos were uploaded around the time of the Pathankot attack," the report said quoting an official.

The Jaish-e-Mohammed leader who gave directions over the phone to the terrorists during the attack on the Pathankot airbase, has reportedly managed to flee to Afghanistan from Pakistan.

"The alleged JeM handler who communicated by telephone over two-dozen times with the terrorists in Pathankot before they carried out the attack on the airbase on January 2, has managed to cross into Afghan border," a member of the Joint Investigation Team probing the attack said.

The attack occurred just days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid a 'surprise' visit to Sharif on his birthday on December 25 and the occasion of his granddaughter's wedding -- a move that appeared to bring the promise of better ties between the two countries in the future.

However, despite the Pathankot visit of the five-member JIT team of Pak Punjab government headed by CTD Additional Inspector General of Police (IGP) Tahir Rai, no progress has been made in the investigation so far.

HIGHLIGHTS

  1. US has handed over proof confirming that the attack emanated from Pak
  2. IP addresses of Facebook accounts of attack masterminds are in Pak
  3. US team has handed over the information to NIA

NEW DELHI: Even as the NIA is examining the option of filing a chargesheet against Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar in the Pathankot terror attack case, the US has handed over proof confirming that the strike emanated from Pakistan.

The US has informed the NIA that IP addresses of Facebook accounts of JeM handlers who masterminded the January attack and IP address of the website of the outfit's financial arm, Al Rahmat Trust, are located in Pakistan. The probe revealed that FB groups accessed by friends of JeM handler Kashif Jaan were related to jihad and JeM and contained photos of the four killed terrorists - Nasir Hussain, Hafiz Abu Bakar, Umar Farooq and Abdul Qayum.

At the time of the attack, the webpage of Al Rahmat Trust was uploaded on rangonoor.com and alqalamonline.com, which are administrated by one Tariq Siddiqui with a common email for both sites, and its address is in Rafah-e-Aam Society in Malir, Karachi. "The US has confirmed that all these websites and IP addresses originated in Pakistan and these were uploaded around the time of thePathankot attack ," an official said.

It was found that Jaan was using a FB account connected to the same mobile number which the attackers called from Pathankot after abducting Punjab police SP Salwinder Singh. The terrorists had also called another number in Pakistan connected to the FB account of "Mulla Daadullah". These accounts were accessed around the time of the attack using IP addresses of Pakistan-based telecom firms (Telenor and Pakistan TeleCommunications Company Ltd).

It means US intelligence report is better than India.

We already did. But Pakistan said http://indianexpress.com/article/in...e-to-pakistan-jit-on-pathankot-attack-report/

But now proof is given and conformed by American intelligence agencies... What will be response from Pakistan

It means US intelligence report is better than India.
We already produced enough evidence but Pakistan denied. But game over at least now?

This was one attack which was handled in a matured way by both countries especially when you compared to previous attacks........ Even India allowed an ISI guy inside its air base to investigate....The question is, Will they allow indian investigators inside pakistan??? I guess no...... Big brother or Big boss wont allow NS to take such a call......

"US confirms?"

All Indian sources not even a shred of news on US or any other International media. This is another indian pearl in long list of Indian bull$hit.

I haven't seen this news on any international media either, or American media itself.

I guess all they have to say is "US confirms" and suddenly everything is gospel truth? :P

Come out of the denial mode. Reality is going to catch up soon. Like it did in past.

People in this thread are acting moronic.

Pakistan actually agreed with India that the attackers came from Pakistani soil, that is why Pakistan sent an investigation team, as well as launched a crack down on JeM.

Lest we forget, your idiotic defense minister stopped Pakistan from properly investigating the crime scene, and then proceeded to brag about not giving access to Pakistan.

Pakistan even gave intel to India about another possible attack, which lead to India finding a killing a few militants that crossed over.

I swear, some people's hatred of Pakistan is just plain foolish.
