I have seen few conflicting reports on the people behind the attack, 1 TTP claiming responsibility, and the other some uzbak group claiming responsibility, another report of an ex PAF man as the mastermind.....

None of it is conflicting. TTP provided shelter, support and logistics to the Uzbek wing of Al-Qaeda and it was a joint operation with foot soldiers from Uzbek group and everything else from TTP. The court martialed ex-PAF low level technician is considered a TTP sympathiser and the brain behind the operation.

However, the real question is still the same, who is behind TTP, who funds them, trains them and gives them targets that puts Pakistan under international scrutiny and financial hardships.

There is no credible information that can be shared on this forum. Therefore for you and me its going to be money and weapons are being plucked from trees while there are three embassies built in afghanistan for roughly around 3000 indian citizens.

PAF has normally been hitting them in dawn to dusk strikes, they all get together at night for their meetings and drawing plans for next day, this time PAF showed it's night strike capabilities when these scumbags were least expecting an attack. Many of them were toasted when their ammo dumps were hit. This time those who survived didn't even bother to take the bodies of their dead colleagues.

If there is no credible information (read indian involvement) means, there is no truth. I don think India as a nation would support any type of terrorist (even if it suits it or not) because we have a life example in front of us.

Yes we may not require 3 embassies/consulates for 3k indians.... But then we have lot of investment made in Afghanistan, and there is lot of work is going on there.... so these embassies are needed. Yes there could be another use of them, we have lot of stragetic assets at loose, may be a check on them is possible thru this agencies....

More than 150 Uzbek militants were killed when fighter jets bombed their hideouts in Miranshah.

MIRANSHAH (Dunya News) – At least eight Pakistani fighter jets launched airstrikes against militant hideouts in Dehgan area of Miranshah in North Waziristan on early Sunday morning, killing more than 150 Uzbek militants.

The strikes targeted eight hideouts of Uzbek militants in Dehgan, a remote village near Pak-Afghan border.

"The strikes were carried out based on confirmed reports about the presence of Uzbek and other militants in the area," an official said.

According to sources, Uzbek militant commander and mastermind of Karachi airport attack, Abu Rehman, was also killed during Sunday’s air strikes. Abu Rehman was also involved in Bannu Jail attack.

Can you imagine how much firepower would eight ( most likely F-16s) jets would have delivered, Only after positive confirmation would PAF have launched such a strike force.
