I took my wife on our honeymoon to Paris. My and my wife's favorite city. Notre Dame one of the favorite building of ours.

If there's a mean,I'll also participate financially. I think it's important for every French to give,even €1 to restore this iconic building that's part of our history,architecture,culture...

Yesterday I was thinking to open a leetchi gagnotte but when I saw Macron’s interview where he said everything will be done for collecting funds. At least I understood it in the way that everyone will be able to give money so now I’m awaiting for more informations.

i think there is a conspiracy behind this as at the same time fire also broke out today at MasjideAqsa in Palestine but ALLAH ALMIGHTY saved it from any damage and no damage occurs which shows that ALLAH ALMIGHTY protects Holy Places of Muslims

Basically the article said that 3D technology will help to rebuild the Cathedral. Many experts had already took 3D images of the monument in the past. So we have 3D plans.

Now that will help to rebuild it very accurately.

I’m not saying “oh look Notre Dame is burning that means christiantiy is dead”

My point was about symbolism.

Christianity is dead in overwhelming majority of “christian-majority countries”....That’s a fact when you look at mega trends of religious practice, influence of religion in people’s lives, sexual norms, social life etc etc in these “christian” societies

Only region where Christianity still has some relevance left is sub Saharan Africa as people there do “practice” Christianity to a large extent.

Islam on the other hand is relatively by far EASILY the most powerful (in religious terms, not geopolitical), influential, and *practiced* global faith. Burning of mosques is not symbolic to Islam’s current state at global stage....while burning of Notre Dame kinda is for Christianity.

(Forget the rest of world, just look at state of Christianity in France. Total and complete demise and humiliation lol...infact, PEW projects that by 2050, majority of French would be atheists and not catholic)

for french people yes it is a tragedy but for us Muslims . no it isnt . they are the same people qho bomb Mulims and their historic mosques in Muslim countries .
