The contention is that Fed Gov should have engaged KPK so they could make arrangements to deal with IDPs and possible fall out as KPK is the immediate neighbor to affected areas.

Good tactic for few months no doubt, Pak had to try "talks". But terrorist attacks continued despite divide, operation become inevitable.

Wouldn't you think the chiefs of province that will be affected the most from this operation should hold a meeting?
Or better yet should have been taken into confidence given opportunity to prepare?

In any case people of Pakistan are with army and we fully support our boys.

Their tact was to lure them into talks which would crack TTP, which seems to have worked. This op is also another tact in a string of strategy to end this madness.
