PTI will urge Taliban for unconditional ceasefire once again upon Imran Khan's return from UK.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) officials have unanimously decided to support military operation in North Waziristan, sources told Dunya News. It was decided that PTI will stand by Pakistan Army for the operation.
According to reports, PTI has also demanded Taliban to ceasefire unconditionally. The demand will be reinforced upon Imran Khan’s return from United Kingdom (UK), the sources said.
Meanwhile, Maulana Yousaf Shah has said that war is not the solution to the problem and that bombing will create more problems. Jamaat Islami (JI) Chief Munawar Hasan expressed fear of ‘another Bangladesh’ in case of army operation. Maulana Yousad Shah said that a contact with Taliban Shura and central leadership was established and a report about the developments has been delivered to Taliban committee patron Maulana Samiul Haq adding that he will soon convene a session of the committee.
On the other hand, Mufti Muneeb ur Rehman has said that constitution is Islamic and that government should have done its homework before appointing a committee.

It seems they have come to their senses ( I hope)

Finally Imran Khan has waken up to the reality of this beast named TTP.

TTP is an enemy of Pakistan and should be routed. I am a supporter of PTI and I support Pakistan Army.

If PTI goes against Pakistan Army I will drop PTI like a sack of Potato.

Plan was made for military action but instead PM Nawaz Sharif opted for peace talks and delayed military action

pm had speech written for army action instead in assembly he did not read that and instead said peace talks will be held with ttp

All the army men martyred in 21 days of peace talks are on nawaz's head

in anticipation of pm's statement and all Pakistanis knew military action is going to be taken Imran Issued a statement to fully support military in action against militants

PTI to back army in anti-militant action

PTI to back army in anti-militant action - DAWN.COM

but Nawaz sharif took u turn as usual as they are now refereed as u government in the media

This despite Imrans government is right next to tribal areas and Peshawar is surrounded by tribal agencies on three sides while nawaz is sweating sitting in punjab and Islamabad taking u turn despite it was decided that military action will be taken

He wasted 21 days in talks and 145 army+civilians got martyred if my figures are correct presented by defense ministry yesterday

Army is under Nawaz's control so PTI cant be held responsible for PMLN's "no gutts policy"

Happy Now..................! You guys need to chill and focus on the other enemies of the state and I can assure you Imran is not one.

Finally - they left with no choice - after all they are a political party & depends on Awami/Public votes.

Laut kay budhoo ghar ko aaye.

PTI has never supported Pakistan Army, be it against TTP/BLA terrorists or against India or against any other threat. Even this forum is clear example, you will find PTI'ans on political threads posting nonsense against other political parties of Pakistan but you will rarely find them in threads where Indians are posting their nonsense propaganda against Pakistan.

LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf has said that it will support the army operation if the Taliban refuse to announce an unconditional ceasefire.

The announcement came at a peace procession organised by the students’ wing of the party here on Sunday.

The participants, some of them on foot and others on motorbikes and cars, went from Ichhra to Shama Chowk through Ferozepur Road. They were led by Ejaz Chaudhry, Dr Yasmin Rashid, Leader of Opposition in Punjab Assembly Mahmoodur Rashid and Aleem Khan.

Carrying placards, banners and party flags, they called upon the government to quit the US-led ‘war on terror’ to restore peace in the country.

They also asked the Taliban to stop attacks on Frontier Corps and police.

Addressing the participants, Mr Chaudhry reiterated chairman Imran Khan’s demand that the Taliban must announce an unconditional ceasefire.

Mr Rashid advised the Taliban not to construe the offer for dialogue as a sign of weakness (of the state) and warned that if they did not stop attacking the army, the forces would have the right to counter-attack in its defence.:enjoy::woot:

The party’s provincial information secretary, Andleeb Abbas, said if the Taliban were serious about the dialogue they should agree to a ceasefire and ensure that other groups abided by it.

She said the PTI stood by the army, FC and police and would not tolerate a single incident of terrorism against them.

Dr Yasmin condemned the killing of armymen and innocent women and children in terrorist attacks.

Pigeons and balloons were released and the participants recited the national anthem before dispersing.
