Bull,

Watch Nic Robertson "Pakistan Terror Within" on CNN, a real eye opener, he is talking to the LAL Masjid Ghazi itself, Frontier Corps Commander's being supportive about Al-Qaeda, ISI is filled with Wahabi Muslims intent on carrying their agenda rather than Pakistan's

Yeah i saw it. It was a good program.

Yes CIA funded in the first place and left to dealt with by ISI. Biggest mistake US made in 1987 was to abandone Afghanistan whithout cleaning it up.
Just imagine what would happen if 1000 criminals from all over the are released to take down the government in Teheran.
The government falls and US is happy...but 1000 criminals at large...looking for the next job.
Thats what happened in Afghanistan.
Thank you America! :usflag:

Agreed 100%. But why did Pakistan allow them to be in Islamabad till now and that too in such large numbers.

What is Pakistani Responsibility, or all the Responsibility is only for the US? Usual .... :disagree:
It was Pakistan's job to clean up, they didnt they thought "wow" these are battle hardened good recurits for their Kashmir Jihad. Afghans, Uzbecks, Pakistani's, Chechans, Arabs, kashmiri's have been killed many a times in Kashmir by the Indian Army. Pakistan's idea backfired on them, Read LTTE for India, but India got out of cleanly in the end, though a Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi died along the cause, while Pakistan with its wahabbi ISI kept on it, keeping Pakistan's National interest in the back burner.

Bull,

Kashmir Jihad backfired on them, Pakistan used to get lot of funds from the arab states and other muslim countries for doing the "muslim jihad cause" in its lands, the ultimate looser in all these was the Pakistani freedom and people.

In this case it should have been the US to deal with the mess not us. It was their war against communism, not ours!

How do you expect to deal with the kind of mess created in Afghanistan when fresh sanctions were imposed on us by US as soon as they left Afghanistan. We simply didn't have the funds to deal with a problem of this magnitude.

It was as much a American War as Pakistani, An Indian Ally in its western border, Think about it; if the Soviets, a world super power and a staunch Indian ally were on the Western Flank on Pakistan.
I compeletly dont agree with you,Pakistani's thought it can transfer them to Kashmir and they did. The results are for you to see. Funding was available to Pakistan to train these miltatns from all over the arab countries, and US sanction was cuz of your nuke development. Pakistani's dont need Billions to clear out terrorist and confiscate their arms.

I am not here to drill my view point to you, but I completly disagree with you giving a ISI and Pakistani policy on terrorism a free ride, and as usual blame the Americans!!!!

Lets not derail the thread...back to LM.
Thanks!

One of the freed hostages told the police that some of the terrorits spoke non Pakistani languages.

That doesnt account to 'wanted taleban fighters'.

Why not? Talibanism may have started in Afghanistan but its has spread along the region, you'll find sypathisants from Uzbekistan to Armenia apart from South Asia.
