Man I spent the entire day in lahore. From 8:30 to 12:15 examination hall near lawrance garden. After which I went to main market and came back from there to chuburji using ferozepur road at 1:15 and then again went to fortress mall from 2:15 till 5:15.

In this entire day lahore has been working smoothly. Nothing. I come here and find out there has been an incident. No blockage. No road blocks. Life went on. Damn.

This is an indication of a society becoming desensitized to senseless killings over time.

Anyways, a good start would be to depoliticize the police and stop its role in providing protection to so-called VIPs throughout the country. In this manner, we can free lot of policemen for duties they are supposed to dispense.

Secondly, cut down the number of VIPs in this state.

I do not "defend" US - I speak my mind about various issues as a distant observer.

My stance is very clear: both US and Pakistan need to have [serious] talks on matters concerning terrorism and Afghanistan. Mudslinging is not going to address these issues.

Another thing is that our own house is not in order and/or clean. A large number of militants have turned out to be Pakistani and corruption remains a common theme. On top of this, we give charge to worse kind of people and expect good results from them.

Around 99% of all militants in Afghanistan are also Afghans but that doesn't stop Uncle Sam blaming Pakistan for all of its failures in Afghanistan. If a super power can blame Pakistan, cut its support fund, do propaganda against Pakistan at all levels, side with its biggest enemy on the pretext of Haqqani network then why Pakistan shouldn't blame Uncle sam for each and every of the death happening in Pakistan.

If US can bomb civilians daily in Afghanistan but can't bomb Mullah Burqa and Kurasanis even once in 365 daysw of the year. Doesn't it show the sh!t game USA is playing in this region. Bloody country of swines. Drinking human blood for last 3 centuries.

And what exactly he has done to do his job? He rarely chairs meetings for law and order situations. He rarely discusses progress on NAP. He rarely meets heads of police and LEA to discuss situation prevailing in the country. What job he is doing? Whatever is done is by army and corps commanders or DG rangers or IG FC.

Do you recall the time when US was absolutely willing to assassinate TTP combatants and its masterminds through drone strikes upon the request of Pakistani officials? US also designated TTP a terrorist organization and funded Pakistani operations against militancy.

It is very convenient for an average Pakistani to blame US for the existing mess in the region but we never had a coherent strategy for War on Terror either.

I am sure that Americans have a lot of ammunition up their sleeves to use against Pakistan in this whole blame-game exercise. Time for introspection and to sort out this "mess."
