According to report, England Tanker Stena Impero had turned off it's positioning system and was sailing in the exit waterway of strait (southern route), instead of entrance route (probably to avoid Iranian waters, which is entrance route), so was sailing in the opposite direction of other ships and endangering the safety of shipping.

Well done IRGC, it's 100% legal and we just prevented a disaster.
