This fact cannot be denied that various western and middle eastern countries etc are offering better opportunities to Pakistanis,plus the world has advanced itself in science and technology too.Thus various Pakistanis leave and go abroad due to following opportunities:
-Better options for education
-Better chances for jobs
-Better Pay,since foreign currency has greater value as compare to Pakistani currency.

There is nothing wrong to go outside and improve your skills and status.However,these 'gems' must remember and give good representation/image of Pakistan.
Plus they must contribute their knowledge and skills to 'motherland' if they think they can.
The 'brain drain' is wrong concept,it should be 'brain train' as person is well 'trained' and 'enhanced' if sincere.
For Example:
If Abdul Qadeer Khan didn't went aboard and 'trained' then how would he be able to introduce nuclear technology!?
So,remember Pakistan and enhance your skills,with this hope that one day you will benifit your country with your skills.Going aboard thus isn't 'bad',but forgetting your nation is really bad.

Brain Drain is a Major Loss to Pakistan

Engineers, Doctors ,Scientist , Financial Analyst that should be working to make Billions for Pakistan are now doing that for USA, Saudia Arabia , Europe or USA.

In return we get back 1% of benefits by foreign exchange

Is it fair that there are no decent Surgical Specialist in Pakistan

Is it fair that there are no doctors to treat local people

Pakistani Engineers are building Water Desalination plants in Saudia, yet Pakistan has water problems locally

Pakistani Engineers are working to build oil refineries in UAE , Kuwait or Saudia yet we do not have that resources to build local refineries in Pakistan

Marketing and Business Admins are running businesses in Middle east , Europe and USA and paying Billions in Taxes in USA and Europe yet no one is paying taxes to Pakistan

Sales people of Pakistani Origion are selling Japanese Used cars all over the world can't they sell cars made in Pakistan abroad? Becasue we have no car engine or factory in Pakistan

Major highways in Saudia have been built with Pakistani Engineers , yet we can't build these roads ourselevs in Pakistan as we do not have qualified resources..

Same with Major Residential areas , Parks and Entertainment centers

tons of.....initially i thought Indian is immigrating to Canada,UK,USA,etc
but south east Asia full of Indian,only the difference is ,in south east Asia all are qualified ,skill labor are very less in %,not only that, Indian company is investing money in Asian country as well

here in Indonesia i am working with Indian company ESSAR STEEL , few other group like bajaj auto ,TVS auto,Indorama,Jindal steel etc also have existence,tata coming with auto mobile project , Hugh investment of Indian company in infrastructure project and mining also

Brain Drain definition: Emigration of scientists, technologists, academics, etc., for better pay, equipment, or conditions.

How many are scientists, technologists, academics etc who have left Pakistan to term it as 'brain drain'??

There is a huge shortage of qualified Engineers but Aint nobody got time fo dat 6 lacs per annum job.

So talented people have to go abroad, then they stay abroad
