As of now, there is nothing Chinese or Pakistani ships do to avoid being hit by the missile once it is launched.
There absolutely are. Destroyers are equipped with LR SAMs and/or MR SAMs, both of which are capable of sea-skimming intercept and can work either in conjunction or as a layered system. If the AShM manages to survive those layers, it would have to contend with Chinese/Pakistani IR-guided Sea-RAM equivalents like the FL-3000N or HHQ-10, all the while being subjected to electronic interference and decoy countermeasures. If the AShM still manages to survive that, it would face several CIWS systems like the Type 730 (deployed by Pakistan as well) and the Type 1130, the latter of which has been tested against Mach 4 class missiles.
