How disingenuous. Most of the Jews of Hebron were killed in an infamous massacre organized by the Arab community of Hebron in 1929. The survivors evacuated by the British. link When the Jews returned decades later the Arabs at first feared they would be massacred or at least completely evicted in turn. That didn't happen, because the Jews showed the Arabs great mercy - something this old woman, who may be old enough to remember first-hand what crimes her community is guilty of, conveniently forgets.

The water issue is a sensitive one, especially in this community where Arabs and Jews not just live in close proximity, but share the same holy sites. As for the arrest, it appears the boy could have been restrained by his mother, but she chose to pull at the soldiers instead.

That isn't what the Zionists are doing; Israel's existence was legitimized after WWI. But Europeans do in general know they are somewhat culpable for the Holocaust and do not appreciate that. I suppose bashing Israel seems to relieve some of that nightmare.

Dude.. I am ok for passing the blame..There is enough of it to go around.. to Israelis, to Pakistanis and to Indians as well. The thread was about the traumatic impact of such activities on a child and would have remained a more civilized discussion without the hate speeches.. And you saw what happened. Children on both sides of the war get traumatized. You saw the picture of the Israeli boy from the Mumbai attack.. So do I start bashing the state of Pakistan here along with calling it names? Most of the posters here differ with you, as they see it as a chance to bash Israel. I didn't need to post a comment for that to happen. I did need to post a comment to point out that this coverage is about exploiting a child's trauma for political advantage.

If you let yourself be stirred to anger against Israel by this, or don't protest about your countrymen doing so, do you not encourage every terrorist who employs human shields and human sufferings in their battle to kill millions of Jews? How foolish is that?
