BMD tested successfully

So you came here to give them competition ? bohot ala
I guess when you talk to yourself, you get the best answers.
In your excitement you seem to have forgotten that neither am i on some Indian forum nor did i rain on your parade but then you need someone to remind you that.

Nope, modern ABMs are highly manuevarable and have in board seekers capable enough to destroy fast BMs

Its more than that with MIRV it becomes almost impossible or at least very unlikely

Pakistani missiles have anti BMD features including the entire shaheen series

BMD is something you have or aspire to when you have multi billion defence budget, your soldiers arent hungry and a big chunk of your population dosent shit in the open air

They spend multi billions on a BMD that will fail and we spend a fraction of that making smarter missiles

When going down this route the indians in their worst nightmares didn't realise Pakistans missile programme was so advanced

Really, the typical Indian mentality of washing the soap before hands on display again, remember what you people were mouthing off when Tejas first flew some 20 years earlier, but i guess you creatures never learn. One test and you think you have achieved it all......it's easy to target a missile when you know exactly which direction and when it's flying, not something that will strike out of the blue....weekend warriors and their wet dreams. LoL.
@waz @Zaki @Manticore please check the generalized attack against posters origin country. Using language not suitable the the thread or forum. All off topic, flaim baiting comment content.

Post reported for off topic flaim baiting diversionary tactics. @waz @Zaki @Manticore @WebMaster please have a look in the thread.

No one can intercept maneuvering missiles... so it has very little consequences for pakistan...

Congratz any way... drdo has ensured their salaries for few more years
@waz @Zaki please check off topic posts are being made to derail the thread and Indians are also posting garbage along with many Pakistani posters. We request you to seriously delete the posts which don't have anything even remote connections with the thread news.

This video is from 2014 but shows the PDV and the target vehicle.

The problem is see is the target vehicle is slow moving liquid fueled Prithvi.

you guys have absolutely no idea what you are talking about...

an ABM missile travelling at mac 3 mac 4 may be 5 is trying to hit a re entry vehicle travelling at mac 15 or mac 20... that means you cannot chase it... its three times faster than the interceptor.

what ABM does is to calculate the ballistic trajectory and contemplates where it would be at said time and send its interceptor for head on collision....

if the target missile changes its ballistic trajectory (df series, shaheen series, topol M) , whole calculations are finished. all these missiles change their trajectory several times before re entry..... final trajectory gives a raction time of not more than 30 seconds....

now go figure
In mid level flight BM has fixed trajectory and only end terminal phase maneuvering starts, hope that much is well taken at you end before making a claim. And any BMD doesn't launches only missile per incoming missile, rather it launches battery of missiles, minimum two in top level with lower level missile in multiply of the initial counter battery. One serious query are you aware how anti missile works clearly?

That was was old PDV against older series Prithvi missile. This time it was upgraded Dhanush ballistic missile launched from unknown location ship. Incoming missile was not old missile. Hope that clears.

But Dhanush is same old Prithvi with Liquid motors as evident from this yest launch pic. The plume and smoke are telltale signs of liquid motor not solid.

Phase 1 is AAD+PAD target range upto 2000 km while PDV can intercept Missile of range upto 5000 km that's why PDV range & speed is less known.

Some old interception

And yesterday I was watching Star trek series movies in late night!!!
do you have radar with 5000 km range?

Read again the previous post its upgraded Dhanush missile & second stage is powerful to afford critical maneuvering needed in terminal phase.

It was earlier, but now they have developed a two stage solid fuel missile.
I guess the target vehicle and the PDV bioth are first solid stage and second liquid stage vehicles.
First solid stage is a low thrust stage and mneuvers by moving fins at the back. Secons stage being liquid fueld uses some sort of thrust vectoring.
