I have no idea, but if you ask me BMC's preferances are irrelevant. If procurement officials order Aselsan SARP they can be easily mounted on over 200+ Kirpi Vehicles. But again both platforms are new in market so far only clear advantage of SARP is being of Aselsan brandI really wonder Why BMC goes to Yuksel SAvunma for YAK stabilized turrets instead of proven and well-known Aselsan technology product, SARP to be used on Altay MBT's...
Yuksel YAK the rival of Aselsan SARP...
Kirpi

Because it is unprofitable. Aselsan will produce SARPs for bigger projects, like Altay etc.
Also Aselsan's current production lines are busy with producing STAMP&STOP.
Why? I don't see the distinction...
As I know, Aselsan will produce Sarp in the same assembly line with STAMP and STOP. Currently the line is busy with producing STAMPs for our oil rich friends.
