Not sure why people are bringing TLP in to this? PTI has plenty of enemies so stop trying to make another one. First deal with the establishment, PmlN and PPP then move on if you get bored. TLP does not like PmlN and never will. The government of Pakistan needs to grow a pair and remove all blashphemy contents in the movies, books, and social media. 90% of the problems will be solved regarding blashphemy.

Keep in mind, Pti are attacking the west, Usa and Generals for removing IK but when it was regarding blashphemy they were calling it freedom of speech and claiming we have to suck up to the west otherwise how will we progress. We all understand we cannot control the world but we can control it in our country. When someone attacks Bajwa then houses are raided and courts opening at 12am but when it was blashphemy contents then liberals were asleep. On purpose they provoke the religious folks in order to impress the west and to send messages to them we are following your orders.

Since this thread is about so-called blasphemy, a religious concept, I'll tell you what I think about this whole circus from an Islamic point of view.

First of all, I think that Imran Khan is being set up for assassination. It can be done by the Pakistani establishment or the foreign powers who wanted IK ousted. Even the suicide bomb in Karachi made me suspicious about whether it will be used to frighten PTI supporters and then used to justify such an attack on Imran Khan.

Pakistan today is like ancient Israel which is mentioned in the Quran. They became horribly evil even though God kept sending prophets to reform them. Then God sent his "servants" to utterly destroy them. First Nebuchadnezzar and then the Romans. These were not believers but they were used by God to punish the Israelites.

Today Pakistan is like the ancient Israelites. Utterly corrupt and far far away from the teachings of Islam. The establishment is rotten to the core. They have to reform or they will be utterly destroyed, like ancient Israel.

There are two possible scenarios.

1) Pakistan decides to fix itself by electing honest people and instituting a system of justice.

2) Kill Imran Khan and/or destroy PTI and maintain the status quo of injustice. In this case the country will become due for the punishment of God and the country will be ravaged by internal chaos and foreign intervention and destruction.

When Benazir Bhutto was killed there were riots around the country. A lot of damage was caused in Karachi, Lahore and elsewhere by PPP jialas.

Would it be any worse for Imran Khan? Most of his supporters are much more civilized than the junglee jialas of PPP. They may burn some cars and buses, but maybe not even as bad as PPP.

If it is foreign enemies who are behind the assassination, they will probably be happy to see as much destruction as possible. The local establishment may consider Benazir Bhutto level of destruction as acceptable.

PTI is a one-man-show to a large degree. With Imran Khan gone it may not last for long. For anti-PTI planners, foreign and local, it will be very tempting to get rid of him to gain complete control over the country.

Do you think Pashtuns are going to be happy? It will leave an everlasting bad taste which will be close to impossible to fix, you've basically completed 50% of the next balkanisation phase at that point

I know most of the country, especially the youngers are supporting him, but we can't deny the ethnic outlook to this also which is a reality in Pakistan

Apart from the obvious impacts his ouster has, it also has deeper impacts within society.

I do believe that to register an FIR for blasphemy (the law should be done away to begin with), the IG of the provice or atleast a DIG should be consulted first to look at the merits of the complaint.
