One of the front runners of LTTE diaspora in the west is a catholic father called Fr.emmanuel. Even catholic fathers in SL like rayappu joseph and jaffna bishop are eelamists and LTTE supporters.

In TN itself catholic fathers are one of the biggest lobby groups for Eelam. That is why they have built a good relationship with the catholic block in the US corridors of power.

I am though a tamil, but in current scenario, its not possible. India cant support Eelam at this juncture.
However we need to unearth the truth on the atrocities committed by SL Army in the war, and bring them to justice. India not standing upto tamils even in world bodies is a worrysome and a shame .

Are you truly so naive? A seperate Tamil Eelam for just 15% of Sri Lanka's population will set a very dangerous precedent for India's own unity. Who's to say some dimwit Tamils from TN will not start a demand for TN's secession from India?

Our borders with Sri Lanka are secure thanks to the existing set-up. We commit minimal resources towards the defence of our Southern borders. Why would we want to further alienate ourselves from the Sinhalese for no reason? It's not like SL's Tamils have been any more receptive towards India as it is.
