I still watch quite a few Malayalam movies.

The oldies have reduced their presence a lot.

And to be honest, a lot of the movies have strong scripts. Wish A particular oldie would call it quits though

Malayalam movies have good stories but it desperately need new young faces.

That ad is consistently shown during IPL. Reminds me of my childhood when I used to be apprehensive about entering the home of one of our neighbours(who happened to be Muslim)

@INDIC that being said, I do agree with your point on Aesthetics, and Malalyalam film industry, the actors at least could learn a lot from how to keep their body in shape.

The younger lot coming in are a different breed altogether.

My friend I'm not a racist. I believe that North and South Indians need to mix more often in order to homogenize the Indian phenotype. We need to break down the North-South divide.

Not like that, nothing can come close the garbage of Pakistani movies. Even the movies look made using 2MP camera, I had been watching some of them for just a mood change.

To be honest, I gave up on watching it in 2005. Same old faces (they were getting overwight too) and horrendous storylines as well.

Got back into it last year when I saw new faces, who actually looked like they hit the gym (with the added bonus they could act).

Saw some excellent movies this year. Including a critique on the communist party.

First South Indians need to intermarry more. A lot of them still marry within their linguistic group, religion, and caste.

I agree with your sentiment though. That is one of the more positive things about economic growth. The migration of Indians in India.

I saw some of them on youtube. Some movies of Sultan Rahi, he was considered as the superstar of Lollywood in 1980s. After watching their movies, you will realize they don't have any Mughalzada culture as these Pakistanis try to pretend. Actors mostly roams in their rangi-birangi lungi and kameez and their Punjabi slang sounded closer to Hindi instead of Urdu.
