Very true, I had first hand experience in May 2020, but credit also largely goes to Army.

One of the most successful people in a specific area, yes. Not necessarily one of the most intelligent. Certainly not one of the wisest. Let's face it, in our the current global culture, money does buy you respect, and people tend to listen to you more.

But to be fair, Mr. Gates has a lot of experience in the area of infectious diseases and epidemiology, not as a doctor, but through the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. He works with top experts from around the world, and over the years has learned a lot from them, and gained more insight than the average Joe.
