What's new

Biker's Lounge

And how did you reach that conclusions? I merely pointed out that your so called analysis lack any merits. By the way I have never owned a 125 lol.

Cause i have ride that bike my friend (neighbor) bought 2 of them... the Only stupid thing about CBR is it start missing in the 4th Gear but in 5th gear it runs fine...

Go get CG 125 and CBR you'll find the difference

:o::o::o:
then how can you tell the difference between them if you never owned them?

YBR is costly then CG 125 if Yamaha manage to bring down YBR price then say bye bye to CG 125 market value...

YBR. PKR 130,000 that gives an average of 55 to 60 km/liter
CG PRK 102,900 that gives an average of 40 to 45 km/liter

You never explained how the mileage was so different between various grades of petrol. The figures given in the initial review cannot be correct. Can you please explain those comments?

The problem with Pakistan Motorcycle industry is lack of affordable available options to customer. Chinese bikes are doing well but they lack in standard as compared to Yamaha and Honda bikes.
I fully agreed that 125s design is decade old and have many issues associated with it but please tell me what are other option available to the customer which has 60 to 70k in his pocket. After some struggle he merely reached to 1 lakh.

Same goes with car industry. Government should have to take action. This monopoly of few corporations should end.
.

Chinese bikes is misnomer. These bikes are almost 100% Pakistan made especially the 70cc, which is basically a Honda clone. This segment is more of a cottage industry with more than 60 assemblers. All the parts are produced locally by various vendors including 2 or 3 engine manufacturers. The small assemblers simply buy from the vendors and assemble them under their brand. This segment is similar to electrical fan, washing machine and to a certain extent fridge/deep freezer industry. Some tractors are also in the same category. Dewan Group tried to market a clone of Massey Ferguson by leveraging vendors developed by Millat but Millat was successful in stopping them by suing and also by integrating vertically so access to key parts such as engine blocks was blocked. Honda was not able to or did not want to do the same. They still get a premium for quality but now they need to introduce new and higher end models to maintain market share. In total Pakistan produces nearly 2 million bike annually and exports quiet a bit.

I think its a part of the Punjabi DNA to want a Bullet! :p:

Its a lovely bike. The first time I rode one, I had a huge silly smile plastered wide across my face. Unstoppable.

Have owned three since then. Sold two and kept my first.
