I agree. Muslim vote has been taken for granted by the Congress. They have a sizeable population. All the so called secular parties, will have to make space for the AIMM. The next non BJP Govt at center will have some 20-30 AIMM seats. FYI, I abhor the politics of the BJP. But Congress is no less.

BJP is becoming like Congress was from 50s-80s with near absolute power, not good for democracy as we have already seen. Problem is most of the opposition are either idiots or are aholes. We need a new strong nationalist right wing party as counterbalance to BJP to keep each other check. The only way it can happen is Congress to shed its liberal stance became the same nationlist org it was at its founding and freedom struggle one which had leaders like lala lajpat rai, netaji bose and sardar patel. Until then there doesn't seem to be any alternative to BJP for India at least at federal level.

I think the problem is there is really no liberal, secular party. Which till the time of Lal Bahadur Shastri Congress was.

Indian muslims are just a lost society. they are neither united nor constitute majority anywhere in india. Its a sad state of affairs.

Because of him BJP came to power, East Bihar he cut votes in such a way that 7 seats went to BJP. This finally led BJP to form govt.

Facts do not support your claims. These are the results of seats that AIMIM contested. Only in one seat, Raniganj, the AIMIM candidate (a lower caste Hindu Roshan Devi), polled more than the victory margin. But there were other parties and independents that polled more than the AIMIM candidate. Why are they not being accused of vote cutters.

Fact of the matter is that Muslims are expected by Hindus to vote for secular parties and blamed for the defeat of these same so-called secular parties.

At the same time, things have gotten so bad that even Yadavs now do not vote for Muslim candidates from the RJD. Congress did not want Ghulam Nabi Azad to campaign in Bihar for fear of losing Hindu votes.

Indian "loss" of territory is just on paper. All we really lost was patrolling points and chinese lost their patrolling points too.

India beat to death twice the number of chinese soldiers, so much so that they had to HIDE their list of casualties and the number of their dead. It took foreign media and US intelligence to come up with a number.

As for chinese "fortification", they are assembled shacks that will be disassembled and carted back once they get any opportunity to fall back. They are free to station thousands of soldiers there, don't pakistani claim there are 7 lakh Indian soldiers in kashmir ? For the past 20 odd years or so.
