Fair point, the NYC subway system could definitely be cleaner. But it still carries all the passengers it needs to very effectively, and has been doing so for over 100 years.

Beijing subways had been upgraded over 10 years ago, at least New York should install the screen doors for all the subway stations like Beijing did when upgrading Beijing's.

Opinions are like a55 holes. Everyone has one. USA will upgrade its infrastructure as it needs to, no more and no less, easy or not (not impossible ). China will do the same.
