From photos taken early by enthusiasts and workers ahead of IDEX 2015 we see two new MRAPs made in Saudi Arabia, this thread will deal with these two Saudi made MRAPs, as more information is released:

Behind the Transformers guy. And as a bonus the TATRA 6x6 trucks which Saudi Arabia has signed a deal to manufacture in country at a number of 500+ to replace the old trucks.

that's a South African Mbombe behind the transformer

The South African Mbmobe is actually the Saudi Al-Masmak, since the company that markets and is located in South Africa (Paramount Group) is Saudi owned. A Saudi company purchased this company outright, absorbed its Technology and moved its Headquarters to Riyadh. The Mbombe is the named Marketed by the company for the African market as the name Nyoka is for the 4x4 version. It is still Saudi owned as the company's twitter account points out, for now all Al-Masmaks are made in Saudi Arabia, and will only shift production to South Africa if the expected African market emerges.

Oh and Jordan already ordered 50 Al-Masmaks 6x6.

All the information here is as I gathered from other websites except Saudi Groups take over of Paramount Group which is confirmed via Twitter.

hmm really?

didn't know about that , Azerbaijan itself has a lot of deals with Paramount Group and plans to locally manufacture Mbombe ( or now Al-Masmak) , and still locally manufacture their MRAPs, Marauder and Matador
I wonder how Saudis buying up the company will affect the contracts.

Mbmobe is actually an extension of the Masmak program which is why the close proximity in appearance, but yeah Saudi Groups bought out Paramount and absorbed their military tech. Not sure than the Mbombe is Al-Masmak though but that is what a lot of people in some other forms suggest.

Masha ALLAH. Why not KSA now sell of their old Humvees and other Armored vehicles. May be Pakistan would be interested in buying it with US permission and support.

Tuwaiq-1 and Tuwaiq-2 for differences, it is clearly undergoing constant modernizations and upgrades.
