Bhoja Air Flight crashes on final approach to Islamabad Airport.

KARACHI: A passenger plane, flight B4-213 of Bhoja Air, crashed at Koral Chowk on Islamabad Express Highway in Rawalpindi on Friday.
It was carrying over 100 passengers and was headed from Karachi to Islamabad.

After watching the eyewitness's statement it looks the cause of crash is a lighting strike. The electricity dis-chargers on wings and tail do help in most cases but what can't be controlled is the sudden shock wave created as a result of its impact.The unfortunate airliner was low on altitude, with little chances of recovery after the lighting strike.

May Allah bless all the departed souls. Amen!

What bothering me is that I may have actually seen it happen..

The two streams of lighting acting on a single point seen in this video is what I saw(not the Acft).. and thought it was just another big lighting strike.. except I did not see it hit the ground..
Considering I was out at the same time near the high court road in Rwp..facing rawat.

However.. only the actual investigation will tell.
